Amazing atmosphere, most friendliest staff ever, peaceful and serene treasure nestled in the heart of a small town. Oh can't forget the scrumptious breakfast...do the sit down instead of buffet-you'll love the spectacular service. You won't want to leave. A place where you leave your troubles at the door. Hated to leave but coming back Holly. And thanks Michael for giving me Christmas in Sept. RB. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Love ya

My wife and I have stayed at the Culpepper Inn twice. The Inn and grounds are well maintained. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Holly, Mike and Melanie are very friendly and welcoming. They even provide breakfast for guests that have to leave early in the morning. Most of the B & B's that we stay at do not have a pool. This one has a wonderful pool that we enjoy hanging out at. We will be back in the future. Jim & Lynda S. Columbia, MD

The Culpepper Inn is a very charming place for a weekend getaway. The Lavender Room was comfy and cozy with a bed that slept really well. The hostess was able to give us wonderful recommendations on things to do in Elizabeth City since our original plans were cancelled due to the rain. We will definitely vistit the bed and breakfast again.
It is guests like you that keep our energy & enthusiasm for this business alive. Thank you!

As a family of 4 with 2 kids under 7 we are perhaps not the traditional bed and breakfast crowd, but at the Culpepper Inn we were pleased to find that families can enjoy the charm of a B&B! While some parts of the inn were off-limits to our little ones, we never felt shunned. There is plenty of peaceful, open space here and I can imagine this being a perfect spot to meet up with old friends for a few days. We stayed in the Carriage House, which had more than enough room for our family. Beware--the food here is a amazing! We were welcomed with pastries and tea, and breakfast was flavorful, fresh, and hearty! Southern hospitality and comfort at their best!
We are very appreciative you took the time to provide such a lovely review. Thank you & please, visit again!
