Enjoy a gift certificate to one of Durham’s local haunts, Tyler’s Taproom for a wide variety of ales, lagers and craft brews. After a day of tasting, retire back to your room and take your pick from the hand-selected six-pack of our favorite local beers in your complimentary pint glass. No need to worry about the cake - our staff can order a custom cake from a local bakery as well as decorate the room’s interior with a floral bouquet of their favorite bloom. Sparkling wine or cider will be chilled and waiting for the guest of honor. This will be a perfect toast to begin the birthday festivities. Our staff will be happy to make arrangements for transportation, dinner reservations and any other evening activities to make the birthday complete. Throughout the year, the Durham Performing Arts Center welcomes numerous types of shows, concerts and entertainers. From Broadway musicals to comedians to dance groups, there is something for everyone. Our staff will be happy to coordinate a whole evening in conjunction with your show. We can arrange a town car to drive you for the evening, we will purchase the tickets to the show, include a $100 gift certificate to one of Durham’s premiere restaurants for dinner, as well as provide a bottle of bubbly before or after you leave for the evening. The DPAC package begins at $325 and includes (1) night stay in a standard room or suite, (1) $100.00 gift certificate for dinner and (1) bottle of sparkling wine. Take me out to the ball game! From April through September, the Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball team plays just a mile from the King’s Daughters Inn. Create a family fun weekend in one of our suites that sleeps up to four people. After you settle into your room, pick up your tickets at the front desk and walk on over to the ballpark. After an exciting game with peanuts, crackerjacks and a fireworks show (on Friday evenings), our staff will provide our turn down service with a kid friendly bedtime snack of milk and cookies. If the Bulls are not in town, Duke University Baseball team as well as USA Baseball plays at the Durham Bulls Park as well. Go Team!
