Travel insurance is highly encouraged for special events.

    The dining room - home to gourmet hot and cold breakfast each morning, as well as the perfect setting for a lovely evening event.The grand staircase, just inside the front entry, is the inviting path to your luxury room.
    Our lovely sunporch is a great location to relax with a book or one of our great teas.Our parlor is great for an intimate conversation with family and friends! Enjoy a board game or just relax on the beautiful and luxurious furniture.
    In restoring the King's Daughters Home, we worked to keep as much original detail as we could. We then decorated it with touches that enhance the historic character, creating a unique setting for your stay.The Watts Room - tucked in the back, on the second floor, in vibrant shades of green, this room is perfect for a quiet night away.
    The Moss Room - with windows on three sides, you have a spectacular view of the stand of Oak and Magnolia trees across the street.  Awake to the morning sun and relax on the second floor surrounded by soothing shades of green.The Tyree Room - pamper your sense of touch, as this second floor room is dressed with apricot silks and velvets.
    The Howerton Room - perfect if you're looking for a more tailored look.  With second-story views of Duke's East Campus, you can relax in this intimate room with a desk, wing-back chair, and shower.The Exum Room - also known around our house as the "Tommy Bahama" room thanks to it's tropical splashes, Exum makes you feel like you've escaped the city, while being only minutes to Downtown.
    The Crews Room - surround yourself in earthy colors as you enjoy the morning sun coming in through windows on three sides.  This second floor room is located in the front of the building, overlooking Duke's stand of Oak and Magnolia trees.The Trinity Room - treat yourself to a delightful night in this suite and then enjoy breakfast on your private second floor sunporch.  This suite has a deluxe bathroom with an airjet tub, separate full-sized shower, and double vanity.
    The Austin Suite - this deluxe 2-room suite, located on the first floor, is decorated in black & white, with splashes of red.  Modern but comfortable, you can relax in the living room or rest in the luxurious king-sized bed.The Parrish Suite - a purple paradise!  Have fun in this funky black, white & purple 2-room suite, complete with a shell-shaped headboard.  Not your average B&B decor!
    The Farthing Suite - you are enveloped in soft creams as you enter this deluxe 2-room suite.  With a king-sized bed, and queen pull-out, you can accommodate up to 4 people.The Markham Room - have fun in this modern and chic black, white & lime 2-room suite on the first floor.  Enjoy the morning sun through the South-facing windows while relaxing on the couch.
    The Womack Room - our ADA room has a lower bed and roll-in shower with bench for easy maneuverability.  That doesn't mean we sacrificed style!  Relax in this comfortable room on the first floor, with easy elevator access.The Saunders Room - this serene room is on the second floor and has it's own private sunporch.  Decorated in soft neutrals, you can relax in the queen-sized bed or lounge on the couch looking out over the city.
    The Woodard Room - this tailored room has classic styling in deep red with a black leather headboard.  On the second floor over-looking the front, this intimate room has a shower in the bathroom.The Rigsbee Suite - a black, white & silver 2-room suite with splashes of red.  Sophisticated styling is comforatable, but modern. On the second floor, with South-facing windows gives this room a lot of light and a great view.
    The Tomlinson Room - you can relax with rich shades of brown on the second floor.  This deluxe room has a separate sitting area and is nestled on the back side of the building, for the most peace and quiet.The Lathrop-Morehead Suite - classic patterns and taupes appoint this first floor two-room suite.  With a queen-sized bed and queen pull-out, you can sleep up to 4.
