Edna Inn

The Edna Inn was a phenomenal stop for us. It was warm, welcoming, and quiet. Our room was clean and comfortable, and from the moment we stepped inside we felt at home. Madison was a wonderful hostess and breakfast was great! We'd highly recommend the Edna Inn!

I have stayed at the Edna Inn each time I've come to Charlotte for business since and found it infinitely preferable to any hotel stay. Comfortable, convenient, stylish, quiet, welcoming, privacy-I can't say enough positive! And I find that I do better business when I am well rested and comfortable in between all the demands of the day. Highly recommended!

From our first conversation to our final goodbyes, Madison was an excellent hostess who provided excellent suggestions for activities and places to eat. We experienced every comfort of home in this home away from home. A quiet evening by the fire after a long day of shopping and seeing Charlotte was just what the doctor ordered. A hearty breakfast the next morning made us ready for meetings and a our long ride home. When we return to Charlotte, I only hope we will be able to find space with Madison once more.

My wife and I just spent two nights at Edna's Inn and found that it was ideal for us. Madison made sure everything was just right and offered many suggestions for what to see/do in Charlotte area. I liked being so close to downtown - we could be in uptown in less than 10 minutes. I especially liked the art work that is up in every room of the house. Very tastefully done. Madison made special arrangements for breakfast due to my wife's dietary restrictions.

We stayed in the Charleston Room, with our own private bath, and had a lovely stay. Easy access to downtown, airport, and highways. Wonderful breakfast, delicious and pretty healthy! Madison is a gracious host and goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need as well as offering great suggestions for things to do and see. We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend here. Thanks Madison!

My husband surprised me with a weekend in Charlotte for my b.d. Madison was very flexible and gracious. Her home is beautiful and the Charleston Suite was perfect for us. It was very spacious and comfortable. She had lots of little touches that made us feel special! The breakfast was so yummy and she was very concerned about what we liked. Madison is an excellent hostess and we would definitely stay at the Edna Inn again.

The Edna in was really nice and Madision was just fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I recently spent a week at the Edna Inn in Charlotte NC. Clean, appealing decor, comfortable attention to details including nightlights, toiletries, lighted area for on-site parking (and more) all enhanced my stay. As I had never been in the Charlotte area before, the reviews encouraged me to try this Bed and Breakfast option and it exceeded my expectations! The location is residential, offering great neighborhoods for walking, there are parks nearby, yet I still had close access to uptown, restaurants, shopping, etc. The host of Edna Inn is so "on top of her game"... a natural at being helpful, efficient and genuinely friendly. Breakfast is varied and delicious, tailored to my preferences. Her knowledge of the area was uniquely helpful every day. She even offered an opportunity for me to work out as a guest where she holds her gym membership. Edna Inn is a jewel ~ tasty, convenient, restful decor and ambiance. Do yourself a favor and stay here above any other Charlotte area options.

I was in town for the birth of my grandson, what a delightful alternative to a hotel. It was so warm and inviting, the innkeeper so friendly, the breakfast delicious. Enjoyed getting to know the other guest as well! Will definitely stay again!

My wife and I had a great time staying at the Edna Inn. It was very convenient and welcoming. It was a bit of a surprise to see an average looking house instead of an old historical B&B, but it worked out great. As you can see from the photos it's a pretty modern place. I think of it as a B&B experience without the doilies! Madison is also a great hostess. Highly recommended.

Edna's Inn was simply the most charming, warm, cozy, inviting place to stay. Madison the inn keeper, is full of helpfull recomendations for restaurants to dine, and local attractions to see. The entire inn was "white" glove spotless. The bed was super comfortable, and the televison room made me feel as if I were lounging in my own home. I highly recommend that you choose to stay at Edna's Inn during your next trip to Charlotte, NC. You will not be disappointed!

Would of liked to of had more breakfast, but all in all a great place with a friendly host and extremely convient to downtown Charlotte.

My husband and I stayed at the Edna Inn for our anniversary and had a really nice time. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. We had plenty of privacy and there was plenty to do (at the Inn and in Charlotte). Breakfast was delicious, the pancakes were my favorite. I highly recommend this B&B.

I stayed three nights and enjoyed it very much. Separate TV room made it made it a home away from home. Comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress. I only thing I would have like to see is a strong bedside light for reading.

..of quietude, comfort, and ahhhh. I had to leave early and just had toast and coffee, as requested. Madison is full of information and attention.

I was driving through Charlotte on a road trip and found this B&B and stayed there for the night. Madison is a wonderful host, and she makes a mean tomato/cheese omelette.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening at the Edna Inn and simply could not have asked for more. Madison communicated with us promptly answering our questions and even let us set the time we wanted her to serve us our delicious breakfast. She was so helpful with directions, we definitely would stay with her again should our travels take us to Charlotte.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edna Inn. Madison has created a home that is welcoming, relaxing, comforting and so very enjoyable. Our breakfasts were thoughtful and pleasing to the palate. Our conversations with Madison and Miss Mary were pleasant and memorable. We will be back again for sure!

My husband and I spent three nights at the Edna Inn around our 34th anniversary. The entire inn is decorated beautifully and tastefully. Everything was impeccably clean. We had a lovely bedroom and bonus room, plenty of privacy, and excellent food. Our hostess, Madison, could not have been more friendly or accommodating! We look forward to another visit, soon!

This b&b is the innkeeper's residence but you wouldn't know it unless she tells you. She is so nice, friendly, & welcoming. The pancakes we had were some of the best I've ever had. There are nice touches throughout the inn like cute motivational books on bedside tables, O magazines (!), & recycling bins for all the plastic bottles you tend to accumulate(!!). We really enjoyed our stay & wished we could have stayed longer. It's nice to be part of the Edna Inn family :)

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Edna, a tranquil spot in a very nice neighborhood. You feel as if you're in your own home, and you might as well be since you'll only see the unobtrusive innkeeper, Madison, at breakfast time when she masterfully prepares the breakfast of your choice. In our case, she didn't even blink at our vegan request (made a couple of days in advance) - and it was delicious, taken outside on the lovely little patio. If need be, Madison is also full of excellent local knowledge and recommendations. We'll be back!

I had a really good experience at Edna Inn. I was a last minute traveler and the entire city had sold out due to NCAA basket ball game in town. I travel widely so I didn't have much qualms about going to stay at a B&B that I didn't have weeks to research. But... Edna Inn was such a pleasant surprise and I would recommend it strongly for people who are sick of run of the mill hotels and love unique designs of boutique accommodations. It has 2 rooms that are tastefully decorated, just like the rest of the house. The location is in a nice residential neighborhood, with pretty trees lining the streets. The owner Madison is awesome! Sweet woman who is very friendly and considerate of guests' needs. The bed was super comfortable. You do need to share the bathroom with another guest. But it feels just like staying at a friend's house, except that friend has a really nice house. There is a den area for relaxing and watching TV, it is very comfortable to spend a few hours after a tiring day. The breakfast included in the bill is awesome. Madison is very generous with her breakfast and beverage offerings. And it feels just like home. The place is so well decorated and well kept, it commands respect in a very natural way. In sum, I loved it, it's perfect for single female travelers, couples, families, as well as respectful male travelers.

Please note, my Inn only allows 4 guests at any given time. Most of my guests are singles or couples and therefore, there is no need to share a bathroom.

We had a great time at The Edna Inn and would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a relaxing time in the Charlotte area. The Inn is close to everything and not noisy at all. Enjoyed the sitting area and felt at home :)

Our stay at Edna Inn was just perfect! Madison was a delightful hostess & her home looks like it came from the pages of Country Living magazine! Beautifully decorated, we walked in to hear soft music playing. This recently opened B&B was a delightful place to stay for us on our overnight in Charlotte. In a beautiful residential neighborhood, it helped us to almost feel like we lived there. The inn is immaculate with its own sitting room just off the hall with the two guest rooms. There's plenty of privacy. Breakfast, made from all organic ingredients, was very flavorful & elegantly presented. We hope very much to return to Charlotte & the Edna Inn again for another visit.

Few bother to say "Hello" first, to be automatically cheerful and playful. But in the Edna Inn we can throw that out the window. Madison never discovered that she might have to live in a hard world with a harsh set of imperatives. Be prepared for absolute friendliness with which Madison will want to know things about you as you relish her zesty cooking, her inviting entertaining areas, and her immaculate home. You will want to tell her "You can say anything to me; nothing you say can be wrong!"
