My wife and I stayed here for our wedding night and were simply blown away at how perfect the accommodations were. We arrived a little later than expected, but Pat was the most gracious hostess and promptly gave us a tour. The decor was wonderful, a charming family home thoughtfully-adorned with various antiques and relics. Pat left us chocolate-covered strawberries with a bottle of champagne in our room which my wife absolutely loved. Our bed was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional: fresh squeezed orange juice; raspberry coulis with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries over homemade Greek yogurt; Belgian waffles with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, accompanied by peppered bacon. As we finished breakfast, the massage therapist arrived right on time. We were absolutely pampered and spoiled for our entire stay, a true story-book ending to our special day. We cannot wait to go back for another getaway, everything was just perfect...

The room was wonderful, from the fireplace to the claw foot tub. High ceilings make the room feel twice its size. The bed was perfect. Breakfast was simply great! Relaxing quiet, something I will look forward to again and again.

By all measures, this is a superb B & B--Pat's a fine hostess, the house is beautiful, clean, decorated with both taste and whimsy. Breakfast was lovely, and the unexpected evening snacks and complementary drinks a great touch. I imagine if you asked, Pat would even change the weather for you.

This inn is fantastic. The breakfast is amazing and the afternoon wine and hors d'ouvres add a special touch. Attention to comfort details is outstanding. The innkeeper adds special personal touches. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here- we rode our motorcycle to Carthage- lovely drive- Pat, the innkeeper greeted us, provided a covered place to park the bike, catered to us in every way possible. We will definitely return and would recommend this inn very highly.
