My husband and I cycled through the area and stayed one night at the Belhaven Water Street B&B. We love the quaint little town and really enjoyed our stay at the B&B. Karen and Andy are wonderful hosts. Our room was clean, bright and offered a beautiful view of the harbor. The breakfast was delicious! We can't wait to go back and then we'll definitely stay a bit longer.
Thanks for sharing some of Belhaven's positive features. We are a small town with lots of good things to share with guests. Our restaurants are fabulous....

For anyone looking for a relaxed and very comfortable stay at a friendly, unexpected interesting place, Belhaven Water Street B&B is a great choice. Good place for kayakers looking to explore rich in the coastal waterways.
Thank you for your kind thoughts! Kayaking in our area has become very popular year-round! Our waterfront is one of our prettiest assets. Cameras are a necessity!

Suggest quiet time from 11pm to 7am to allow guest's to rest peacefully. Kleenex tissue in the room and two water glasses in each room.
Sorry to hear you thought some things were lacking during your stay. Perhaps if you would have mentioned these things while you were here they could have been easily fixed instead of addressing them here after your stay....Puts a negative atmosphere on things. All the rooms have Kleenex, so if you're room was out we could have easily replenished (we have many boxes in the pantry)... as for glasses in the rooms, there are always stacks of throw away glasses in each bathrooms medicine chest - and if your room didn't have them, it would have taken a minute to get more for you. Have never had a complaint about 11-7 before....don't usually have rowdy guests....Again, all these things could have been remedied easily IF you would have brought them to our attention... If you visit with us again, please make your special needs known to us and we'll be happy to accommodate you...That's what the hospitality business is all about!

Andy and Karen were great hosts - they really made us feel at home. The inn was very comfortable and the breakfasts were yummy. We had a wonderful dinner at Spoon River. And we really enjoyed the Blue Grass jam session on Tuesday evening.
Thank you for your comments! We love when guests can stay more than one evening because there are lots of things to see and do....Our restaurants are delicious! Come on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to eat at Georgie's Sports & Oyster Bar...Super fresh seafood and great steaks!!

Karen and Andy made us feel completely at home the moment we walked in the door. Karen is a superb cook and she and Andy are very entertaining. We visited quite a bit during breakfasts and in the evenings. One evening, we joined them at a bluegrass/gospel/country jam session. What fun!
Yes the weekly bluegrass/gospel/country jams are fun and we're looking forward to another one tonight! Thank you for staying with us and we certainly hope you'll be visiting with us again soon!
