The Badin Inn & Golf Club

107 Spruce Street , Badin, NC 28009 USA (Show map)

About

Built in 1913, this historic Inn was once a male boarding house for the local aluminum smelting plant. During the town's hayday, it was also a stop over for entertainers like Mae West & W.C. Fields while here preforming at the local opera house. While staying at the Inn, guests enjoy relaxing in the rocking chairs on our wrap around veranda, sitting poolside, or getting in 18 holes on our Ross inspired golf course. A short distance from the Inn are an abundance of opportunities to occupy your time while enjoying your stay with us. Wineries, antiquing, hiking & kayaking are very popular in the area.

We have stayed several times. Love the town, lake and beautiful location. Near Morrow Mountain State Park and several Wineries.

We would definitely recommend the Badin Inn to family and friends. We look forward to another stay in the near future!

We had a wonderful stay. Nice rooms decorated with antiques. Modern bathroom. Good price. Next time we'll stay longer to play some golf! We would highly recommend the Badin Inn to our family and friends.

Back to Badin

4.2 on August 30, 2015

We were members of the Stanly County Country Club for many years and lived in Badin for some of those. We are very familiar with the facility and are so pleased that we can come and visit. We have many memories from the past to cherish there and hope to make some more. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful to us during our recent visit. We will be back as often as we can.

Bailey's Wedding

Our stay was very nice. If you want a place where you come and go with no staff contact, this is your location. I saw the owner only once or twice. The continental breakfast was pastry and orange juice. However, the golf course grill next door had hot breakfasts for a very reasonable price and the service was super.

Great stay

We arrived late Friday evening; we caught the resturant just before closing. They prepared us a wonderful to go order, even offered for us to eat in the dining room. The food was amazing. The entire weekend was relaxing and low key. Friendly staff and the other guests were pleasant. Looking forward to doing it again.

Inn and golf both worth a visit

4.6 on May 21, 2015

I have stayed here once a year for the past three years in conjunction with a golf outing. Love the different and unique rooms. Beats the heck out of staying in generic hotel rooms. Always find the rooms and property clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Golf course has a lot of history and is fun to play.

Family event

This was our first experience with a B&B and we were thrilled with our experience. We had 2 rooms, the Badin Suite and the Edminster. The rooms were clean, the staff was very welcoming and the restaurant was fantastic! We have family in Albemarle and this trip was to attend a wedding. We usually stay in town at one of the hotels, but they are overpriced for what we're used to. Badin was perfect and we will definitely stay again! May 8-10, 2015. Shaw family from Arkansas.

Bading Inn

When booking the room I told them we would use the sofa sleeper. My mom slept in the bedroom and said it was very comfortable. The sofa sleeper was missing 2 springs that hold the mattress which made it not very comfortable. There was no top sheet for the sofa sleeper and asked for that and never got it. Otherwise, the rooms are clean. I don't mind being self serve for breakfast, check in and check out and the area is very pretty. I would not stay in this particular room again though. Thank you.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review! The issue with the pull out sleeper has been brought to the attention of both Maintenance & Housekeeping. We would love to have you stay again and try out another room as they are all different. We hate you did not have a top notch experience & greatly appreciate your feedback so me may ensure things are corrected for the next guest coming in.
