We enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, breakfast and afternoon tea. The only down side was that when the bathroom was cleaned the smell of the tile cleaner lingered throughout our stay. We would definitely go back.
We are so glad you were delighted with your visit and enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvres as well as our gourmet breakfast! We take pride in our cleanliness and apologize that the aroma was strong, we will be sensitive to that in the future. Please return on your next visit to Asheville!

We had a wonderful stay at the princess Anne Hotel. Location was central to downtown yet very quiet. The staff was so helpful and gracious to our two small boys.

My husband and I were in town looking at real estate and chose to stay at the Princess Anne based on other travelers' reviews. Its location was ideal for us. We were amazed when we arrived to find a real jewel--the staff were gracious and helpful, the amenities were fabulous, and room couldn't have been more charming. We enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvres on the deck in the afternoons and met other interesting guests. We've stayed at many hotels and B&Bs, and this was the perfect balance--privacy if and when you wanted it and the opportunity to meet other travelers. We will definitely be staying here again!

An absolute charming stay with such a friendly staff. The rooms were spotless, especially the sheets and towels and I'm very picky about where I put my tired body, honest. The afternoon drinks and hor'devours were fabulous as well as the breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a quaint B&B has an amazing staff and accommodations in a quiet neighborhood only 5 minutes from downtown Asheville - you can event bike there (very bike friendly city). Wine and hors d'oeuvres at 4:30 and breakfast was amazing! Plus we had mimosas while waiting for breakfast. Staff is truly friendly and helpful and care about your stay. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Some reviews mention the beds, but our was perfect and slept great. We had a room on the third floor in front of the elevator and stairs and it was surprisingly quiet. Weather was amazing and sat outside on side patio and front patio. Will definitely be back on our next trip and highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stay at B&Bs regularly when we travel. By far the Princess Anne is always the most enjoyable and also the best value. From the Front Desk/Concierge to the restaurant, maintenance and housekeeping staff everyone is extremely and unassumingly friendly and helpful. Their complimentary breakfast is really sumptuous and over the top, served in a beautiful dining room on white table cloth. The coffee is amazing! At 4:30pm every day there is a complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres hour - really great after a hard day's travel. Our favorite B&B by far.

Our second time here and we hated to leave. The staff is terrific, the rooms spacious and peaceful, and the breakfasts are divine. Can't wait to return!
