Anniversary Celebration

4.8 on January 01, 2015

Staying at the Princess Anne Hotel was the highlight of our wedding anniversary celebration in Asheville. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the suite was beautiful and comfy and the food was wonderful! We will definitely stay here again!

A wonderful place to stay

We came to the Princess Anne for our honeymoon in Asheville, and we loved it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and clean, and the food was delicious. Definitely a great experience and the first place we will stay when we return to Asheville. Its proximity to downtown Asheville was convenient and easy. We stayed one night at the resort down the road because everyone told us we had to be there, but once we checked in, we immediately wished we'd spent another night at Princess Anne.

Wonderful room, staff and food. Great location.

Princess Anne Hotel provides a very attractive fusion of a vintage hotel and a charming bed and breakfast. The staff is small and very responsive and helpful as hosts. Breakfast offered a rotation of attractive choices for all dietary needs. Staff were also able to accommodate individual (Reasonable) requests. The afternoon reception was a perfect way to close a day of hiking and sightseeing. They hotel is placed in a peaceful and charming neighborhood. On top of all this parking is free and access to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore is both quick and easy. We hardly recommend you considering this hotel for your stay.

A wonderful experience!

Columbus Day stay

4.6 on October 16, 2014

We enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, breakfast and afternoon tea. The only down side was that when the bathroom was cleaned the smell of the tile cleaner lingered throughout our stay. We would definitely go back.

Innkeeper Response
We are so glad you were delighted with your visit and enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvres as well as our gourmet breakfast! We take pride in our cleanliness and apologize that the aroma was strong, we will be sensitive to that in the future. Please return on your next visit to Asheville!

We had a wonderful stay at the princess Anne Hotel. Location was central to downtown yet very quiet. The staff was so helpful and gracious to our two small boys.

What a romantic boutique hotel!

My husband and I were in town looking at real estate and chose to stay at the Princess Anne based on other travelers' reviews. Its location was ideal for us. We were amazed when we arrived to find a real jewel--the staff were gracious and helpful, the amenities were fabulous, and room couldn't have been more charming. We enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvres on the deck in the afternoons and met other interesting guests. We've stayed at many hotels and B&Bs, and this was the perfect balance--privacy if and when you wanted it and the opportunity to meet other travelers. We will definitely be staying here again!

Fabulous B&B

An absolute charming stay with such a friendly staff. The rooms were spotless, especially the sheets and towels and I'm very picky about where I put my tired body, honest. The afternoon drinks and hor'devours were fabulous as well as the breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this place to anyone.

great stay!

This is a quaint B&B has an amazing staff and accommodations in a quiet neighborhood only 5 minutes from downtown Asheville - you can event bike there (very bike friendly city). Wine and hors d'oeuvres at 4:30 and breakfast was amazing! Plus we had mimosas while waiting for breakfast. Staff is truly friendly and helpful and care about your stay. Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Some reviews mention the beds, but our was perfect and slept great. We had a room on the third floor in front of the elevator and stairs and it was surprisingly quiet. Weather was amazing and sat outside on side patio and front patio. Will definitely be back on our next trip and highly recommend this hotel.
