Situated next to a landscaped green and steps from the beach, the Tidal Zone has two family-friendly options with lots of waterview and outdoor living space. Park your car in the driveway and walk to most restaurants, shops and outdoor adventure outlets.

The Eagle's Nest is ideal for sweethearts of any age with its king-size bed, in-room jacuzzi for two and private balcony overlooking beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay and St. Andrews Harbour. If you are traveling with children, grandparents or friends, there is an extra bedroom, cot and queen-size sofa bed.

The Mud Flat is on the ground level with a walk-out patio opening onto the green and gardens. Perfect for couples with young children or pets.

Both options have private entrances and fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers!

    St. Andrews is a small pinnsula and the cottage is near the point. As you enter the town, follow the signs to Water Street and the town centre.

    Drive a few blocks past the shops to 427 Water Street. Look for two green cottages with red roofs on your right. We are the 2nd one, next to the park.

  • Directions from airport:
    Take Highway 1 to Route 127. Follow the signs to St. Andrews and Water Street.

Sue is a 3rd generation summer resident who spends her summers in her grandfather's beach house across the green, giving her guests more privacy. In late October, she moves back into the Tidal Zone for the winter, with dog Hershey and cat Cooper.

    Just steps from the beach, you can experience the 25 foot rise and fall of the tides.  Discover shells, starfish, sand dollars, sea urchins, mussels, clams, and many types of birds that make this shore their home.Enjoy breakfast inside or out on the deck, while you watch fishing boats return from their herring wiers or salmon cages.
    The Eagle's Nest master bedroom has a king-size bed, white leather easy chairs, electric fireplace and in-room jacuzzi for two.  Relax in bed or on your private balcony while you enjoy the view overlooking the islands in Passamaquoddy Bay.Are you traveling with children, grandparents or friends?  Both the Eagle's Nest and Mud Flat have an extra bedroom available.
    The Mud Flat has a walk-out patio with BBQ and table where you can relax and watch your children play in the adjoining park, landscaped by Kingsbrae Gardens.  Queen size bed in the master bedroom with separate adjoining children's room.  Private bathroom and living room are decorated in white wainscotting with pale yellow above.
    The Eagle's Nest has two full baths and the Mud Flat has one.  All baths are sparking clean and private.St. Andrews has a rich loyalist, shipbuilding, railway and summer resort history spanning 400 years.
    Whalewatching, kyaking and beach combing are popular activities for all ages.
