    July 4th Getaway

    July 05, 2012

Convenient location in downtown Natchez. Walked to the Mississippi River to view fireworks. Easy to park by the property on the street. Poor communication or should I say none from the front-desk personnel. At time of check-in, a July 4th party on the roof was mentioned (not mentioned on website at time of reservation), but nothing offered on how noise may affect our selected room. Party went from 8:00 until 2:00 AM and bumping of feet and music could be heard in the room which was immediately under the roof-top party. We had brought a small portable fan and used earplugs so we had a good nights sleep anyway. Dining didn't go so well either. Sat down the evening of arrival and expected to see the menu as shown on the website. Only offered the bar menu because of refrigerator problems. Thought that should have been explained at time of seating, not after I had ordered our drinks and had to go ask about the full menu. Next morning was told that breakfast would be ready for 7:30 AM. Arrived at 7:30, seated and didn't receive the meal until 7:55. It was good. Never offered coffee, never offered an apology for the delay - just no information offered i.e. breakfast won't be ready until 8:00 would have been a good start when I asked at 7:15 AM. Place was emaculate throughout with quality appointments, especially for the price.

    Very Pleasant Surprise

    May 24, 2010

I have never stayed in a B&B, but the Natchez Manor has made me a believer in the B&B. The Manor was very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly. Ms. Debra Cosey exhudes that good ole southern charm and hospitality. It felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. I highly recommend the Natchez Manor to anyone going to Natchez.

    wonderful

    March 31, 2010

During our last visit to Natchez some friends of mine and my wife suggested we stay at the Natchez Manor. Needless to say the Manor exceeded the compliments of our friends as well as our very own expectations. There is so much to say about the Manor I really do not Know where to begin. The first thing to catch your eye is the decor. From the rooftop terrace to the basement piano bar the decor was impeccable. The second thing to amaze me was the suite were I stayed and it was second only because I took a tour of the hotel prior to viewing my accommodations. If I recall properly we stayed in the Empress Enyla suit. Not only was this suite the epitome of antique beauty, but it had the uncanny ability to remain modern while doing such. Last but not least was the Piano bar. I did not have to leave the hotel for evening entertainment and being a lover of live music this was a special treat. In closing if looking for a great weekend getaway the Natchez Manor is in my opinion the one of the better if not best establishments in the city of Natchez. Great food, great music, great service what more could ask for.

    Beautiful B&B

    March 29, 2010

Beautiful B&B , but dont go on a Friday or Saturday Night. The music from the Piano Bar in the Basement can be heard from the 2nd Floor Suites. When I tried to sleep all I could hear was the Bass on the pillow . Went outside the room into the sitting room and the sound was so loud that I thought I was in the Bar. Complained to the Manager and was just told Sorry
