Greenlea is located in the old Spanish section of downtown Natchez, two blocks from the Mississippi River. In 1853, the major part of the house was completed in pure Greek Revival style, by a cotton broker, Edward Templeman. The house retains its original parterre garden and has a lovely walled courtyard and garden in the rear of the house. The bed and breakfast at Greenlea is located in the rear of the house adjacent to the Courtyard and overlooking it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Greenlea. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was always a pleasure to come back at the end of the day. We would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved this B&B! It was perfect. One room. Just us. Very quiet and tranquil. Stella was extremely helpful in planning out our activities. And the city of Natchez is so full of history. This B&B is close to everything. We were able to take an evening stroll to dinner. We definitely will be returning to this B&B and the town of Natchez. Kristin and Jack Kristin and Jack

We met Inn keeper when we first arrived. She took us thru the main home and gave us a history of the home. Showed us to our beautiful room and gave us our.key and voucher for breakfast at Dunleigh. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

I fell in love with this room from the pictures; it was just as wonderful in real life. It was warm and welcoming, lots of comfortable seating, and surrounded by gardens and trees. Our hosts made us feel welcome and gave us great advice about what was most interesting in the Natchez area. The kitchenette was an added bonus--you could stay here long term and bring in your own food. I would love to return to Natchez; I'd stay here if I did.

This was one of the best B&B rooms we've ever stayed in. Rooooooomy is the operative word here. Throw in an excellent location and really nice hosts and you've got a great value. We didn't use the kitchenette but it's a nice feature and the frig was stocked with soft drinks. Also, not having a breakfast at the B&B was not a problem because the buffet meal at another plantation B&B a mile away was GREAT! Would we stay at Greenlea again if in Natchez? YOU BETCHA WE WOULD!
The suite is in what is now the kitchen wing and is the oldest part of the house. A flight of steps from the kitchen porch takes you to the attached dependency. The steps lead to the porch overlooking the courtyard at Greenlea. In the spacious exposed brick bedroom, there are windows on three sides overlooking the gardens. Internet and satellite tv. Kingsize bed and murphy bed. Galley kitchen
