My husband and I was looking for a quiet get a way for our 8th Anniversary. We decided to give this bed and breakfast a try. We really enjoyed our quiet get away. Everything and everyone was awesome. We most definitely recommend this to our family, friends and others. We will do it again in the near future. I really enjoyed my massage. We both got massages something we both deserved. Thank You for your gret hospitality.

Great location and super rooms. Breakfast was outstanding. Ron and Eleanor were great hosts. Everything was clean and fresh. If our travels take us to Natchez again this is the place to stay.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Aunt Clara's Cottage, beginning with an extremely warm welcome (which was also extended to our German Shepherd). The accommodations and food were wonderful, and we so enjoyed meeting Eleanor, Ron and Doris, all of whom were attentive to our every need throughout our stay. Thanks so much for a lovely weekend...we highly recommend this as a destination in Natchez!

The Devereaux Shields House is just what you would want in a bed and breadfast. Our hosts were warm and welcoming with a lovely little wine and cheese gathering when we arrived; we had the suite with a separate room for my sister and my husband and I in the larger bedroom, both being very comfortable; and the French toast in the morning was absolutely fantastic. I had to buy the cookbook so that I could have it for eternity.

This is a charming house in a lovely peaceful location in Natchez. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable and the hosts very friendly. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on the veranda in the comfortable rocking chairs.

My stay this past weekend was excellent. The Cottage was clean, comfortable, and quiet! I highly recommend this Natchez property. My business there required me to leave each day before breakfast, but the proprietor provided a lively bowl of fresh fruit. Great choice for your stay.

My husband and I were looking for someplace lovely to stay for one night while passing through Natchez, Mississippi and we found that place at the Devereaux Shields House. Everything about our experience was enjoyable, from the pre-stay emails through the stay itself. We were given excellent suggestions on places to eat dinner, a glass of wine on arrival and an excellent breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Thank you!

Stayed one night to tour Natchez and we were not disappointed with the B & B. The owners were friendly, had information to share on restaurants and site seeing, plus the food was delicious and plentiful.

Made a quick spring break trip with 2 kids to visit Natchez. The house was very comfortable and well maintained. We were in the Victoria Suite which is located in the separate cottage down the street from the main house. This was also where the breakfast was served. Ron and Elinor (the owners) were very friendly and accommodating as well as the rest of their staff. I would recommend this B&B to others
