This was recommended to us by a local business aquaintance. It was so easy to walk to every thing downtown. Brenda and Sydney shared all of the knowledge they had about the History of Columbus and were able to help us find everything we needed in Modern Columbus. Very comfortable and best southern breakfast I've ever had.

    I always recommend this B&B

I have had the opportunity to visit this home on many occasions for holiday parties and local weddings. My profession has allowed me to recommend to many visitors and clients from other parts of the country and abroad to stay at the Amzi Love Home & Gardens. It is walking distance to coffee shops, dining, art and boutique style shopping. If you are planning to visit students, military friends and family or want to get a real feel for the Old South, I encourage you to try this B&B. Every friend, business aquaintance or family that has stayed with the Caradines have learned so much valuable information about Historical Columbus and modern day Columbus. You will have a restful stay and be given inside information concerning all Columbus Ms. has to offer you.

My husband and I and our little dog, Maggie, stayed two nights with Brenda and Sid and were delighted with the warmth and friendliness we experienced. The accomodations are spacious, convenient to downtown, quiet and very attractive. Sid took us on a tour of his family home and transformed us back in time through the experiences of his family.Sid is a Southern Gentleman in the very best sense of the honorific. The smell of fresh coffee woke us in the morning and Brenda's breakfasts were served with lovely antique china and silver. Also, they were really tasty. Brenda is vivacious and eager to share her knowledge of Columbus history and traditions. We are eagerly looking forward to our next stay with this wonderful couple. I stayed 4 nights in the beautiful Lincoln Home B & B ( just adjacent to Amzi Love) and had a fabulous time. The breakfast was superb - poached eggs, smoked bacon, succulent cantelope, absolutely divine. I was very comfortable in my room - which was spacious & relaxing - very comfortable bed. The house, which dates back to 1833, has been fully restored and has all the modern amenities you could hope for. AC, a fully stocked fridge, cable tv, great closets, private baths, outdoor bbq & lush gardens. Within walking distance of all Columbus attractions: shopping, great restaraunts, the Tennessee Williams home. The best thing about the Lincoln Home & Amzi Love are the incredible hosts who get an A+ for hospitality. Incredible customer service, warm, friendly and informative. This B&B is a fantastic place to stay - I can't wait to return!

I loved the flavor of the ante-bellum south at this B&B. My stay was during the April event known as "The Pilgrimage" and I highly recomend a visit during this time although you will find much of interest in Colombus any time of the year. Brenda and Sid are very gracious hosts and the food is outstanding.
