    a lovely oasis

    August 21, 2009

We found this a charming hideaway but just steps from the market center. Immacualte grounds and very lush. Well-attended by staff. Good place to go if you want to just hang out, enjoy the grounds and eat their delcious food. More like bed, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not for budget traveler or people who want to eat meals out. Quiet. Everything is charged for, can be a little annoying.

It didn´t met our expectations. In fact we are thinking that it is overrated. Don´t get me wrong: the best about it is the really nice view. The rooms and all other things are only average or even below average.Certainly won´t go back.

    We loved this place!

    December 09, 2008

We visit Mexico a lot and have stayed in hotels and B&Bs around the world, but it would be hard to beat Tepoz Fuego. First, the setting is so gorgeous. We stayed in the Aztec Suite with a sunny private patio that looked onto the mountains. Breathtaking! The grounds are lush and full of birds and flowers. The food is really good, Chefs Noe and Alvaro are the real deal. The breakfasts were sensational and we ate many lunches and dinners there also. Intimate and special - it was hard to want to go anywhere else!! The staff were attentive, friendly and fun- especially Rodrigo. We were there for Thanksgiving and they made us a Thanksgiving dinner a la Mexicana that they spent hours preparing. The Tepoz Fuego is a about a 12-15 minute walk to the zocalo and there are cobble stone streets and some hills. We didn't care, but it's good to know. There is a great market on Tepoztlan on the weekends and Wednesdays. Well to do Mexican families come here on the weekends, so there are plenty of good restaurants. Stay at Tepoz Fuego - hard to imagine anywhere could be close in experience.

    Classy, Elegant, Friendly, Ideally Located

    May 20, 2008

I went to the Villa Del Tepoz Fuego in October 2007. It was one of my best travel memories, especially "El Dia de los Muertos". Very comfortable and well located in Tepoztlan, the hosts were amazing and very accommodating. I highly recommend this B&B.

    Yummy meals and relaxation galore

    May 19, 2008

We stayed in the Oaxaca room and will no doubt return. The owners cater to your needs, the meals are out of this world and everywhere is clean enough to eat off the floors.
