My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night in August. It is on a nice piece of property at the foot of the Bitterroots just outside of Hamilton. Stu and Linda are gracious and accommodating hosts, and will make you feel right at home. We stayed in the Charlie Russell Suite, which had a jetted bathtub big enough for two, and was well decorated in rustic western decor without looking tacky. They cooked us a tasty breakfast the next morning, and we spent the rest of the morning exploring the property. We will stay here again if we ever find ourselves out that way again.

We have become repeat customers at Deer Crossing - it feels like our home away from home. The setting is picture perfect, the Montana cabin is charming, and Stu and Linda are wonderful. Breakfast is always delicious and comes with great advice to help you select among the seemingly limitless options of activities in the area. Deer Crossing is the ideal place to come home to after a day of hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, rockhounding, mountain gazing etc. We love peering out the window in the morning to see if any elk or deer are visiting. Wow, what a place. Stayed in the Montanan Cabin. Very cozy, secluded at the end of the property. Cute wood stove and satelite tv too! Stu and Linda are the best, and what a breakfast!! Baked eggs, cinnamon french toast...I wish I bought the cookbook! Great scenery, loved the trip up the mtn on the Grizzly! Cant wait to go back! Thanks Linda and Stu, Bill
