Beautiful Victorian Inn. Rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet. Our breakfasts were delicious and substantial accompanied by good conversation with inn keeper Bruce. The fun surprise was Inn keeper Frankee's afternoon tea. She is a tea master and served delicious tea . The inn is located just 3blocks from downtown Bozeman and within walking distance to the Museum of the Rockies. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed in the Robert's Roost room Saturday, December 29 and Sunday, December 30. It was a pleasant room. The bathroom was small but well designed and very clean. The downstairs parlor was a comfortable place to relax with a book. I liked the afternoon tea in the parlor, especially Frankie's home-made cookies. Breakfast was delicious and filling. This inn is located only four blocks from the heart of downtown. This is an unbeatable combination of charm, personal service and location, compared to the chain hotels on the northern fringe of town. Suggestions for the innkeepers: Provide a small step-stool to get into the high bed. Provide a small dresser, which is especially important for multi-day visitors. Provide a small table for writing and for using a laptop. This table could perhaps be put in the parlor, since I can see that there is limited room in Robert's Roost for adding furniture..

Our most elegant room! The unique antique bed has a magnificent 9-foot brass headboard that canopies the bed with an antique lamp. Honeymooners especially enjoy dining in the sunny breakfast nook in the bay window overlooking the front garden. An ornate turn of the century fireplace adds to the warm, inviting ambiance of the room. Guests are encouraged to browse through the room’s private library of art and travel books at their leisure, or to simply relax in the spacious clawfoot tub and unwind from the day’s activities.

This rich burgundy and pale rose colored suite with a private sitting room adjoins the Chisholm Room, which makes these two rooms ideal for a family or friends. It is also very popular with people travelling with a child, inasmuch as the sitting room is equipped with a single hide-a-bed/love seat. The room is situated towards the back of the house, off the main street overlooking the side garden and the back yard and is furnished with an antique brass and iron bed and a drop-leaf table that conveniently opens up for in-room dining or paperwork. The extra large old fashioned porcelain tub is perfect for stretching out and having a long soak!

This charming room was originally the billiards room. In the 1920s it became a studio apartment for a young newly married couple. It is decorated in shades of deep green and white, with wicker furniture and a large ornamental turn of the century fireplace. The large walk-in closet provides plenty of room for an extended stay. This is the only room in the house with it’s own private deck off the bedroom, overlooking the back yard, which makes this one of the most popular rooms in summer and fall.

This is the perfect room for a family of three. (It adjoins the Armstrong Room, so a family of 5 would be very comfortable renting both rooms.) It has vivid colors and a warm coral-colored 14-foot coved ceiling. It is furnished with an antique brass and iron bed, an ornate ornamental turn of the century hearth/fireplace and a comfortable Victorian platform rocker. The dining table opens to provide plenty of room to eat breakfast or to work. The oversized clawfoot tub invites lingering, refreshing bubble baths (bubbles provided by the Voss Inn!)

Our only main floor room, this is part of what was originally the ballroom. This very spacious room is decorated in soft mauves and tans for a restful atmosphere. The romantic bathing area, which closes with plush curtains, is separate from the in-room water closet. The large drop-leaf table opens to provide plenty of room for in-room dining or paperwork. There is ample space for an extra bed if needed.
