The Silver Forest Inn, a historic bed and breakfast nestled just outside Bozeman, Montana in the beautiful Bridger Canyon. The Inn is surrounded by the 2-million acre Gallatin National Forest and offers the closest accommodations to Bridger Bowl Ski Area, Bohart Ranch Cross Country Ski Center, and numerous National Forest Access sites. Innkeepers, Ann Woodward Kapernick and Ken Keithcart, are native Montanans and Northwesterners and love to share their knowledge to help make your adventures memorable. This historic cabin is the perfect location for relaxing after a day of exploring Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park and other southern Montana treasures. Gaze at the stars dancing over the snow capped Bridger Mountain range, or enjoy weaving tales of adventure with new or old friends by the fireplace. Regardless, you will not be let down by this truly authentic Montana mountain experience.
The Turret Room is truly an experience and one of our guests' favorites. The room could be called an eagle's nest for showcasing panoramic views of the Bridger Mountains and offering an intimate bedroom setting with a hand carved log queen bed. Includes a shared bathroom.

Would have stayed longer if it was in our travel plans. Nice out of the way B&B.

It felt like we were guests in someone's warm and inviting home. The atmosphere was friendly and convivial and I would love to stay again. I stayed in the turret room, which has no bathroom and is actually quite small. The views made up for it.

This inn is situated about 20 miles from Bozeman in a nifty corner of the Rockies. Great deck, wonderful reading rooms, vistas galore. Innkeeper was very welcoming. Relax and enjoy this historic building. We sure did. Lou and Carol, Boyertown, PA

Great breakfasts and near Bozeman, MT which also has great restaurants and beer. I recommend Audrey's Pizza and Montana Ale Works. It's a 1 1/2 hour drive to Yellowstone and with roadkill possibilities it's best to have a base nearer to Yellowstone but it was adequate for a good 1 week trip.
