We were welcomed by the charming owner of the Silver Forest Inn, a picturesque log style home reminiscent of my visits to the historic lodges of Yellowstone and Yosemite. I live at a ski resort in California and really appreciate the mountain style architecture. We were entertained with delightful local stories over a delicious gourmet breakfast and were well fortified for our hiking we had planned that day. We returned for a cozy, relaxing afternoon of reading by a roaring fire and enjoying the magnificent views. We felt so comfortable and pampered and had such a wonderful time that we're already planning a return visit next winter to ski at the Bridger Bowl Ski Area practically right next door. So close and convenient, you can even see the ski runs from the Inn. We are looking forward to some of this Montana powder skiing we've been hearing about. This is truly a special and magical place, we loved it and can't wait to come back!

    I LOVE this Inn.

We came to Silver Forest Inn for our honeymoon October 2010. The room was beautiful, the owners were SO friendly and SO wonderful, and gave us just the perfect amount of space. Suzannah cooked the most wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning, and was so great about sending us to the most wonderful restaurants so that we could have the "honeymoon dinners" that we wanted. They made us feel right at home, and gave us lists of places to go and bands that were playing over the weekend we were there. The hot tub was fabulous, sitting outside on the deck you could see all the stars, and it was very romantic. There were lots of hiking trails and places we could go in the woods around the Inn. It was just perfect. Suzannah even has a little Salon in the basement!! We were so lucky to have found this place. We are planning on coming back in the winter during the snowboarding season to stay with them again. I would recommend this Inn to anyone. Very inviting, and homey, and a wonderful atmosphere and location.
