Welcome to the Inn on Crescent Lake, located in historic Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Only 30 miles from downtown Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City International Airport, the Inn is perfectly situated for a relaxing weekend getaway and provides an excellent lodging alternative to business travelers. The stately three-story 1915 Georgian Colonial mansion sits on 22 acres and is surrounded by two crescent-shaped ponds, historically known as Crescent Lake. The Inn was meticulously renovated in 1997. While the architectural integrity of the Inn was preserved, all of the rooms were completely modernized.

What a beautiful place to take my wife for our anniversary. It is a class act. Secluded, well kept, and beautifully decorated. My wife kept saying what a talent they must have to decorate the way they did. On arrival the rose bouquet and scrumptious chocolate covered strawberries were perfect. The first morning breakfast in our room was a special touch. Then the second morning we ate in the common area but everyone had their own table. Much more intimate that way than being all at the same table. Their meal recommendations for eating out were excellent, too. It would be a great place for an extended stay.

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. Craig was really nice and gave a great explanation about things around the place! The staff was so nice to us! The room was clean and all set up by the time we checked in.

The Inn on Crescent Lake is a beautiful, relaxing, romantic place to spend a few days! My husband surprised me with the birthday package & we stayed in the Ballroom. I was moved to tears upon seeing the room, a dozen roses, & a birthday cake with balloons! Everything was so beautiful & special. The hosts and staff were so hospitable & the breakfast was delicious! We never got bored during our three days there. I recommend dining at Ventana in town - it was absolutely great! And if the store is open, check out Mind, Body, & Soap two doors down from Ventana. It's a super cute shop with divine smelling soaps, lotions, and more! We will DEFINITELY be back for future stays at the Inn on Crescent Lake!

My husband and I had tried the "Bed and Breakfast" thing before and didn't like it, but after finding the Inn on Crescent Lake on the internet and watching the you tube video, we decided to give it a try. We absolutely loved it! We chose the "crescent room", which was very nice and very private. Breakfast was wonderful. Very nice estate with walking grounds, pool, paddle boats and massage therapists. Would definitely recommend and do again!

It is a beautiful house and accommodations. They are just a little ridged on there policies. We booked two rooms for the weekend and spent over $800 and were told we couldn't have an extra hour or two for a late check out. There was nobody else in the inn which was a little disapointing. Other than that the rooms are really nice, clean and the property is gorgeous!

We loved this bed and breakfast, a hidden gem for sure! We stayed in the Garden room, it was cozy and super clean! Everything was very comfortable there and the grounds are beautiful as well! The Inn keeper, Craig, gave us tips for dinner and we ended up and great place in town called the Ventana Cafe, it was awesome!! Breakfast in the morning was great, everyone was so friendly and we felt welcome and comfortable. Looking forward to going back in the summer and trying the row boat on the water, fire pit and swimming pool! A great place to relax indeed!

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful gem of a bed and breakfast. Compliments to Beverly and her husband for their "welcoming" charm. The room we stayed in (The Crescent Suite) was very unique and lovely. The breakfast was delicious and filling! We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We stayed at Inn on Crescent Lake on Valentine's Day. The mansion is beautiful, and it's in a very pretty setting. Our room was wonderful, and included a large jacuzzi tub. I would definitely stay here again. The bed was comfortable. We stayed n the Casbah Room.I enjoyed the Stuffed French Toast we had for breakfast. We ate dinner in town at the Ventana Grill and it was great, too.
