Our bed and Breakfast has 4 wonderfully charming guest rooms. Each suite is decorated in a unique motif sure to please every traveler. Such as the spacious Cardinal suite which has an adjoining private bath or fall asleep under the canopy in our French Garden room. Sit back and relax in our recreation room. Enjoy a book, a game of pool or quiet conversation by the fireplace with a friend. Enjoy a specially prepared home cooked country breakfast before heading out to many of the local attractions such as the Country Club Plaza, Truman Sports Complex, Historic Lexington MO. For the Gardener we are 5 minutes from Powell Gardens.

This is the places to go if you are looking for a quiet place with great and plenty of food a great variety of food. Even a bedtime snack it was the best! My husband and I go to many B&B 's and We put this one to the top !! Thanks so Much from Iowa !!

We arived to early on a Saturday evening and after heading out for a local dinner went back to enjoy a fabulous relaxing evening; fallowed the next morning with a great breakfast provided by super nice folks!

We went to Apples and Gingerbread to escape the stresses of everyday life and found the accomodations to be everything and more than we expected with excellent food and gracious host. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was incredible. If peace and quiet are part of your agenda for a relaxing getaway....this is just the place to start. This B&B goes beautifully with a trip to Powell Gardens, just a short drive (about 20 minutes) away.

our apple muffins are large in size and very moist, the have both apples and oatmeal in them. We also serve gingerbread muffins and several other kinds. Our apple pie is made with fresh apples and a very flakey crust sprinkled with vanilla sugar. -
