Made a quick mid week getaway to Red Wing on a Thursday. The owner greeted us, and was very, very friendly and helpful with suggestions about Red Wing. The room was warm and very comfy, and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. Great conversation with the owner at breakfast was quite enjoyable! Did an early winter hike at Frontenac State Park the next morning, with great vistas of the Mississippi River. Fun shopping at the Uff Da shop and Josephson's in Red Wing. A very enjoyable getaway for both of us!

My husband and I went to Pratt-Taber to relax and celebrate my birthday. It was wonderful! Deb, Ron and Max were friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. The bed was comfy. Deb's brownies were a fun treat after returning from dinner in Red Wing. Breakfast was delicious. Ron and Deb also had a happy hour in the evening. We had a nice conversation along with our wine, beer and cheese. It was a relaxing and refreshing stay. We'll be back!

I felt well taken care of at the Pratt-Taber Inn. The Inn is located in a beautiful old house in historic Red Wing. I had a lovely room and Deb made wonderful chocolate/carmel brownies for a home made treat. The breakfast was delicious and Deb was very friendly and acomodating. I highly recommend this Inn.

1 night stay after attending a local wedding. It was too short. We had the SUMMER room and it was spotless and lovely. The bedroom is cozy for 2 and lovingly decorated in yellows and creams. In window AC kept us comfortable on a hot August night. The bathroom was huge and a Victorian dream. Deb and Ron were lovely hosts. LOVED the sweet dream brownies and gourmet breakfast and lively conversation. The only areas that I felt could use some attention was the porch which needed a good scrub and a perhaps careful updating. Clearly this couple has invested their lives and hearts in this period beauty. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to stay here and schedule time to just enjoy the house and the piece of history so wonderfully available to her guests.
