We have sensitively preserved the grounds and the natural environment and want to share our vistas of unspoiled, natural beauty. Argueably, one of the best locations on the upper Mississippi River Valley overlooking the Tiffany Wildlife Preserve and both the Chippewa and Mississippi River Valley and Lake Pepin. American Eagle Bluff gives you the freedom to explore bluff perennial gardens. Feel free to wander our lavish flower gardens and be embraced by our stone walls. Enjoy one of our many peaceful, private areas to sit or lay on the rolling, expansive lawn. One can see 30 miles unobstructed!

If you want to be surrounded by the luxury and beauty of perennial gardens while experiencing complete solitude wherever you roam- you MUST visit American Eagle B&B. The 140 acres majestically abound the bluffs dotted by a small orchard, a tranquil path that leads you to a secluded perch where you view the grandeur of the Mississippi and Chippewa Rivers, shaded gardens with hammocks calling you for an afternoon nap. The view is breathtaking and the grounds are nearly sacred. Boasting over 31 varieties of Hostas, a colorful and lovely Japanese garden, with a charming front porch swing where you can keep any eye on the bubbling pool of gold fish. The birds visit the feeders and baths sprinkled about the property. The charm of the old farm house is waiting to tell you her story. It is filled with lavish antiques, glassware, magazines, contemporary art and a wonderful and charming library to catch a late night read. The newly appointed gourmet kitchen complete with large windows overlooking the magnificent property calls you to indulge in the freshly baked cookies and fresh lemonade. This place really is near heavenly. The hosts, Perry & Raynard are the finest! We were only reluctant to share our experience for fear that the next time we want to come we won’t get in!

This B&B is a hidden gem. Once a magazine gets wind of this stunning place, it will be sold out for sure. The value is outstanding. It is a beautiful, private bluff. The home is gorgeous, but the true beauty of this B&B is the landscaping and scenery. The landscaping is perfection; honeymooners would love it. It would also be a wonderful place for photo shoots. We ate blackberries off the tree, walked a little path to the most breathtaking view of the rivers. We plan on going in other seasons to see what true nature beauty this place has to offer. It's serene, relaxing and wonderful. In the morning you are greeted by the amazing chef Ranald, and Perry the gourmet baker. Amazing breakfast of beautifully arranged fruits and a delicious egg bake, all with organic ingredients. A potato dish, a sausage dish and fresh orange juice. Perry made us delicious loaves of raisin bread from scratch. The atmosphere is so great. The colors in the room remind you of an antique cottage. Care has been taken in every detail. We adored this place. We wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the quiet beauty. Our guide Perry showed us the entire area (they own a lot of land around the B&B), as well as describing all of the books, antiques and gems created and found within the house. Attention to detail couldn't be better. They also have a great little antique shop below with lots of really great finds! We absolutely could not believe the price for this amazing place. This is really and truly a resort!

I spent July 4th here. The hosts are so helpful, they know everything about the area, where to eat and shop, "Ruby Beets" for jewelry. But you won't ever want to leave the place once you settle in. You can view the valleys and rivers below with complete privacy. The acres to stroll, deer to watch and woodpeckers to listen for. There are even great views from the bathrooms. You will love the decor which is warm and cozy and rich and sensuous. Great place for a girl friend weekend or a romantic get-away. You won't getaway without a scrumptious breakfast. Home made muffins or breads all the time. Check the cookie jar. But most important sit on the Adirondack chairs and let the world float by. You won't be disappointed.

The American Eagle Bluff B & B is truly exceptional. Bursting with art, gorgeous interior design, charming farm house & amazing landscape & views - it is way above the rest of the B & Bs and at a reasonable price. TOO charming for words.
