Norwegian Wood Retreat is a bed and breakfast and more - offering weekend retreat options for textile artisans and crafters. You create your own getaway and bring up to seven friends. Located a convenient hour north of the Twin Cities, in Princeton, MN and just off the beaten path, but miles away from distractions! The natural environment and comfortable accommodations offer the perfect place to inspire your creativity with other kindred spirits. The large, window-filled studio with ample light is set up with tables and easy chairs to enjoy knitting, scrap booking, quilting, stamping, beading, spiritual retreats, and seminars. Massages are available upon request by a certified massage therapist. As part of your retreat experience, the weekend package includes six homemade meals using locally sourced, wholesome and organic ingredients. Arrival dinner, three meals daily, departure breakfast and afternoon tea are included in the weekend package rate. You may want to get away from it all but you will have all the conveniences of home if you so desire. Free wireless internet access, state of the art theatre system for presentation, demonstrations, music, or entertainment. Easy hookup to laptops, iPods, Smartphones, and other digital devices. Nearby attractions include Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, Sherburne Sand Dunes State Forest, Princeton Golf Course, and Prairie Restorations, Inc. My wife and I had a wonderful overnight here! We were able to relax, play games, watch a movie, and have a nice walk in the woods. It was just what we wanted! Breakfast was wonderful and Deb was very willing to accommodate our diet. We will be back!

We had a girls scrapbooking weekend at Norweigen Wood Retreat. We watched movies all weekend on the huge flat screen TV while scrapbooking. I did digital scrapbooking and basically lived in the most comfortable chair ever. It had a lap top tray on it, so I was able to work on my computer, watch a movie, and not get a back ache. It was awesome. The food was incredible. All organic, healthy, and we requested vegetarian. Deb had a menu typed up and I couldn't wait for the mext meal. The house is beautiful, the screened in porch is great, and the walks in the woods were nice as well. I can't say enough nice things about this bed and breakfast and Deb. She is so nice and very welcoming. We will be coming every year.
