The JailHouse Inn is the Old Fillmore County Jail built in the Italianate architectural style in 1869. The interior of the Inn has painstakingly been restored to its original Victorian splendor. Many aspects of the interior space have been left as they may have been, including the original curved walnut banister at the front entrance of the Inn. Some of the original seven foot paneled white doors remain from when the purpose of the building was the Fillmore County Jail. Today, the JailHouse Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more information about the complete history of the Inn, please check out our History Page.

Cancellations: Room reservation (s) canceled 7 days prior to the date of your stay, will be charged $20.00 per room processing fee. You are responsible for the Full Amount of your reservation if you cancel within 7 days prior to the date of your stay. If we are able to re-rent a room you have canceled you will be refunded the room amount less a $25.00 per room processing fee; if your cancellation has occurred within 7 days of your stay. Guests are responsible for the entire reservation.
