    Brian enjoys having fun with friends, cooking, gardening, long walks and good movies. He has been able to enjoy traveling with Bob to London, Ireland, Italy and many of the fifty states. Bob is a Mechanical and Industrial Engineer. He has a passion for biking, volleyball and wallyball. Vivian is our spoiled Cocker Spaniel. She is very well behaved and deeply loved. One of her best qualities is being a great snuggler. She loves meeting new guests.

The furnishings in this room include a Queen size bed with a luxurious pillow top mattress, elegant bed covers and a plethora of pillows for guests to enjoy. Night stands accompany each side of the bed. Guests may utilize the pumpkin foot dresser, mirror, a beautiful stained-glass reading lamp, and Empire chair. This room also includes a large private bathroom, a Jacuzzi with shower, and terry cloth robes. Weekday special: 2 nights Sun - Thurs, $100 per night. Not valid holidays or special events.

Guests will enjoy an antique dresser with attached mirror, rocking chair, and area rug. The private bath has a shower and toilet, and the sink is in-room with mirror. It will be hard not to fall in love with this room. Weekday special: 2 nights Sunday - Thursday, $100 per night. Not valid holidays or special events.

    This is the BEST Bed and Breakfast in Lanesboro, in our opinion. If you want to stay where you feel like old friends the first time you arrive, are treated like royalty, feast on the best and yummiest food around, and have hosts who will jump at your every need, this is the place for you! Brian, Bob and their adorable Vivian, are a joy to be around and they go out of their way to let you know all the happenings in and around town. Our next visit was just this past weekend for a Valentines Day getaway. The weekend was amazing and Brian treated us to a fantastic time. Give him a call and get YOUR getaway started!!!!!!     Our stay at the Filmore House was delightful. The Inkeeper was wonderful and we enjoyed learning the history of the B and B. It was so nice to meet the other gursts and learn about them. The breakfst was truely amazing with delicious food and a beautiful table.

    Brian greeted us upon arrival and was VERY informative about the city's hisory as well as that of the house. Had great recommendations for things to do around town (We LOVED the store Essence-check it out!). The house and rooms were meticulously cared for and spotless which was quite impressive for a house nearly 100 years old! Breakfast was delicious and we felt pampered with the 3 courses! Something we never do for ourselves. Overall, we loved our stay at the Fillmore house and strongly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Lanesboro! Little Vivan was such a sweetie too! Check out the gardens, we were here in the fall but could tell the grounds are well taken care of and were still beautiful!

    Okay, here's the deal, a bed and a breakfast...............And some B & B owners go out of their way to make you feel nice and at home.............Brian did just that from the greeting, to getting me hot water at 1030PM, after the play, because I was chilled and needed a cup of tea, to company at breakfast, envigorating conversation and a warm send off............Life is good, simple as that, and some people make it "gooder".
