2 eggs (at room temperature) 1 cup milk (at room temperature) 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt * Heat oven to 450. * Generously grease six 6-ounce popover cups. * Beat slightly (do not over beat): Eggs, then mix in milk, flour and salt just until smooth. * Fill popover cups about 1/2 full. * Bake 20 minutes. * Decrease oven temperature to 350. * Bake popover cups 20 minutes longer. * Immediately remove from cups. * Serve hot.
