    Discover A Unique Experience The wild woods are alive with many forest creatures that prance and play in view of the elegant rooms at the Wildwood Inn Bed & Breakfast, the only Bed and Breakfast in the area. It is located on Wheeler's Point off famous Lake of the Woods in the heart of the Walleye Capital of the World. At the mouth of the Rainy River, over 100 wooded acres are waiting for you to explore. The Inn will impress you as you enter into the special atmosphere that whispers history, wildlife, and beauty. There are five spacious guest bedroom suites. The upstairs rooms have vaulted ceilings, each with a unique theme for your pleasure. Unlike other B & B's, each of the rooms have a private bathroom for your convenience. Gourmet meals, Sunday buffets, private intimate dinners, picnic lunches and dining for special diets are provided at the Inn. Of course, Lake of the Woods has year around fishing available. You can do it yourself or we can help make arrangements for some fun on the water. Pleasure boating, swimming, golfing, bird watching, hiking, biking, hunting, snowmobiling and ice fishing are splendid activities in this beautiful north woods location. We can also point you to excellent entertainment facilities.

      Take Highway 172 North from Baudette about 12 miles, turn left onto Cottonwood Rd. Cottonwood Road is a circle drive, do not turn on the first Cottonwood Road as it is a minimum maintenance road. Turn on the second Cottonwood Road across from Border Bait Co., a small gas station and mini-market. Our driveway is straight ahead. The house is set back about 1,000 feet. There is plenty of parking at the end of the driveway on the left.
