The location, comfort, ambience, service, food, EVERYTHING is top notch! You'd be hard pressed to find ANY place (hotel or restaurant) that can beat Kathy's breakfasts! The courtyard, with its beautiful trees, flowers, fountains and arbors is fantastic... and just wait 'til you meet Daisy (you'll want to take her home with you)! We have stayed at the Park Avenue several times while getting our first child settled at St. Louis University. It's been a wonderful experience and great, relaxing get-away. The location is perfect and the Lafayette Park area is quaint and has everything you need. We will definitely return!

As a former innkeeper who has stayed at many B&Bs throughout the country, the Park Avenue Mansion deserves 5 Stars and more! Elegant yet comfortable, wonderful breakfast, beautiful gardens and gracious, friendly hosts. All set in one of the most charming neighborhoods called Lafayette Square, near everything to do and see in St. Louis. Great restaurants one block away. And clean! Did I mention clean? Spotless! And I am picky about that. Mike and Kathy, along with their newest member of the household, Daisy, have waved their magic wands and created a place and time that one will not soon forget.

We love people, entertaining, and pampering our guests! Mike gives wonderful "histories" and stories of the house and Lafayette Square, if you ask him. We enjoy living in a fabulous neighborhood with great restaurants starting within 50 feet, a Victorian walking park across the street, and a short walk to the city's farmer's market. We are very grateful people who want to share our city with you!
