    A True Sanctuary

    April 22, 2013

The Innkeepers are as fabulous as the B&B!! They were warm and welcoming and even served a gourmet breakfast to my college son (his delight) who was not staying with me . We had much in common and talked healing touch and healing oils as well. The Inn/B&B was beautifully appointed in every detail and a lovely garden too. It was a slice of heaven on earth for me and I hope to return soon! YES, highly recommend and close to the Brewery Tour and Botanical Gardens.

The House I Wish I Had

    April 08, 2013

A friend and I, seeking something new to break up winter boredom, treated ourselves to one night in March at the Park Avenue Mansion in the Park Avenue room. Elegant antique bed, refrigerated champagne, Keurig coffeemaker right outside our door in the hallway, 2-person bathtub with Jacuzzi, view of snowy Lafayette Park across the street, all enhanced by a nice welcome from Mike. Several restaurants and coffee shops are a block away should you want dinner. Blueberry pancakes for breakfast We spent a lovely quiet evening and were well rested. Expensive for us but I recommend it for anyone. I enjoyed pretending it was my own house.

    A Treasure

    March 28, 2013

Kathy and Mike have beautifully restored a magnificent old Lafayette Square mansion and created the perfect B&B experience for their guests. The rooms are superbly appointed and the gourmet breakfasts are to-die-for. I think what I will remember most about my 5-day stay at the Park Avenue Mansion is the charm and warmth of the hosts (and their several pets). I have made new friends. There are several good restaurants and at least one delightful bar/cafe within a few blocks of the PAM.

Park Avenue Mansion "A real Mansion"

    September 19, 2011

Wow, what a weekend. Kathy and Michael made our stay absolutely wondrous. The food was fantastic. Located within easy reach of all that we wanted to see. Quiet, Comfort, Luxery, all rolled into one. We will definitely go back. This is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Definitely worth the price.

    Love the Park Avenue Mansion

    September 05, 2011

We stayed in the Park Avenue Mansion in St. Louis on Sept. 3 and 4, 2011. It was a perfect location, just a 20-minute walk from Busch Stadium and the Arch. Also, there is a park across the street that is fabulous for a little exercise. This inn has a gorgeous, paved garden that would be perfect for a wedding or reception. It's also perfect for dining or just visiting on a beautiful summer evening. We've stayed in several B&Bs across the nation. This one was the best by far. Loved our room. Enjoyed our hosts, who were very helpful. And, again, location, location, location.

highly recommend the park avenue mansion b & b

    March 14, 2011

Kathy and Mike made us feel very much at home and were very helpful! They know the neighborhood and the St. Louis area very well - from what is available to the history and personality of attractions and neighborhoods. Breakfast was delicious, accommodations were very comfortable - combining the atmosphere of the elegant older home with modern conveniences. We loved meeting Garbo, their aging rescue dog. She was friendly but not bothersome - and obviously enjoyed the company of the B & B guests. Definitely added a friendly, homey touch. There were welcoming fireplaces, and comfortable locations for reading and conversation. the garden area, even in March, was beautiful. The neighborhood has restaurants and other attractions. The park across the street afforded a relaxing place for walks - and enough room for a good exercising walk.
