So happens that The Brewer's House Bed and Breakfast is affordable. What I would expect to cost at least $150, is under $100 a night! This bed and breakfast is very comfortable. Old world with some modern integrations, it has numerous spectacular pieces of furniture, art, books, and collectibles displayed throughout. Breakfast is a delicious spread of fruit, baked goods, coffee, eggs, bacon, and friendly conversation. The Host (Rick) is happy to give you plenty of points of interest during your stay, from a local St. Louisian. We only wish they had more nights available during our visit to St. Louis. We had a fabulous 2 nights' stay with Inn Keeper, Rick! Both rooms were beautiful, huge and romantic! We picked the upstairs room and had the fire place going all night. Rick is a highlight - he's so available, knowledgeable, friendly, kind and accommodating! Gee, we were happy there...and the price is rock bottom - you'd pay a lot more for such rooms elsewhere. Breakfast? Rick goes to the market and gets the best pastries there are - and he balances it out with an omelet as you would like it. Coffee was great too and we just wish we had a reason to go back soon!

Hands down, this was the BEST place we've ever stayed in St. Louis. Rick is friendly, the home was gorgeous, and the breakfast was yummy. I absolutely can't wait to go back here and stay again! Loved it.

We loved staying at the Brewer House! Rick was a very welcoming host. We enjoyed all the interesting items in the room that help give the Brewer House its unique quality. Great location....minutes from Brewery, markets, dining, and shopping.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The location is great -- we walked to both the Soulard and Lafayette Square historic districts (where we took in the annual house tour). Rick is very friendly, and the breakfasts were great. He also provided some very good advice regarding restaurants and local attractions. He's got a neat collection of intriguing artifacts, and the bed was one of the best I've slept in -- sometimes it is not easy to fall asleep in a hotel or B&B bed -- but not here. Sleep came instantly for both of us, and we were very comfortable. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at The Brewer's House on our honeymoon in St. Louis, and it was wonderful! The location is amazing (5 minutes to downtown!); the hot tub is awesome; and the breakfast was lovely. Rick takes his time to cook things just the way you like. Brewer's House is the epitome of the Soulard experience in St. Louis, and Rick is one of the most gracious people I know. Call him.

My husband (who had never stayed at a B&B) and I shopped for a while for a B&B in the Benton Park/Soulard area. We are SO GLAD we found Rick and Brewer's House!! The rooms are both lovely. The first floor room has an adjoining bathroom (which we preferred) and the top floor room has a fire place (which others may prefer). Both are gorgeous and intimate and really make you feel like you're in a world of your own. Rick was delightful, conversant, but certainly gave us our space. He fixed delicious breakfast both mornings we were there and we very much enjoyed getting to know him. The area is full of local restaurants and bars, and blocks from area attractions including the Budweiser Brewery Tour. We had a great time in St Louis and we definitely have Rick to thank.

We loved our stay at the Brewer House. It was decorated beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed looking at all the wonderful items they have around the house. In our 6 nights on the road the Brewer House was the best sleep we had. The bed was extremely comfortable. But the very best thing was waking up to a delicious breakfast prepared by Rick himself. His conversation with us was so pleasant & relaxing. He is a pleasure to be around. Just wish we could of spent more time there! Thanks for everything, Don & Mary

We stayed here with friends a week ago and it was terrific. The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. Very comfortable. But the best part of this B&B is the host, Rick. He was so friendly and helpful. Since he's from St. Louis he knows about everything and how to get there. The breakfasts were amazing. Can't find a single thing that I would change. Have already recommended it to friends.

We arrived before Rick got home but our room was ready and we were immediately comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the shower has 3 heads that were wonderful to stand under. Breakfast was perfect and conversation with Rick was very interesting. We used the deck both evenings we were there; the view of downtown St.Louis was beautiful. There is a hot tub that is available and the plants and garden that surround it are lovely. Again, Rick is an interesting host and willing to help with directions and suggestions for eating out and palces to see. We will be back.

We were looking for a location close to both the Soulard and Lafayette Square area, and made our reservation at Brewer's House mainly for that reason. How little did we know how much at home we would feel at Brewer's House and what a great host Rick was. The website advertised only some great pastries as part of the breakfast, but both mornings we were awakened to the wonderful smell of fresh ground coffee and bacon. He had a fresh fruit plate awaiting, and offered to make omelettes. We enjoyed pleasant conversation with the other guests and Rick was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely be back!!!

rick was very helpfull in getting around the city. public transit isn't very good on the weekend and twice he was able to take me where I was going. went beyond what most inn keepers would have done. will recomend this inn to everyone.

We recently stayed at the Brewers House and loved it. The room was clean with an old home charm. The hospitality of Rick was warm and friendly, he made you feel right at home. We would definetely visit the Brewers House again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Brewer's House this past weekend, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The innkeeper, Rick, was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We have two dogs and he welcomed them both happily, which was a huge relief to both of us. He woke up early to serve us a delicious breakfast, and we felt so comfortable and at ease in the residence. We'd never dream of staying anywhere else in St. Louis, and we're looking forward to staying there again when we return south next week!

Brewer's house is relaxed, elegant, and homey - all in one! The host was wonderful and welcoming. A must stay - inn!
