With a glass of soda/wine/beer sit on the front porch and just take in the magnificent view of City Hall, the park, and downtown. You may also order a picnic lunch and eat at the park pictured or drive to many others along our 26 mile parkway system. You may want to order our Porch Hor'dourves to enjoy on the porch. 
Just 2 days with us will feel like a week.Guest living/great room. Beautiful antique furniture adorns this room. Perfect for reading, conversation, puzzles, and board games. We have an awesome collectors addition Scrabble game using GOLD tiles for 2-4 people. A finely tuned piano which we encourage you to play, a working 1908 Victor victrola and books about St. Joe.
The guest Library where you can relax, read (lots of recipe books),watch Direct TV/VCR/DVD, some movies to choose from on site, and 2 armoirs filled with cards, games and puzzles to take wherever you like in the house or even on the front porch to play.Help yourself in our fully stocked guest kitchen. fridge has water/wine/soda/beer, microwave if you need to re-heat your dinners leftovers, coffee pot w/hot drinks to choose from, a basket of snacks for the midnight munchies and popcorn for your movie in the library that evening. Ironing board and iron for you convience.
Spirit of St. Joseph Room with private bath. This room in the front of the house has magnificent view of City Hall and park from 3 windows. The pictures are of St. Joseph's architectural treasures. The room features an ornamental Chase-period oak mantel with original tile work, antique armoir, a QUEEN sized bed with paneled wainscoting headboard, clawfoot bathtub w/hand-held shower, sink built-in old drawers and a toilet in closet. High quality linens, extra pillow, soaps, shampoo, hair dryer, room A/C, fan and spa sound clock/radio. Feel rejuvinated!!Empire Rose Room with private bath. Named for its massive Empire-Revival mahogany furniture including a QUEEN sleigh bed, 2 dressers, night stands, table and 2 chairs.  The bath features the original bath, clawfoot tub w/shower, 100 yr old sink and "wreath frieze" tile work. High quality linens, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, room A/C, fan, extra pillows, spa sound machine/clock radio for the most enjoyable stay.  A truely elegant room!!
Emma's Rose Garden with private bath. Located in the 1910 addition of the house that used to be the sleeping porch with 3 walls of windows. The original shutters are still incased in the windows where the sills are hinged and fold back to reveal the shutters that could be pulled up. Named after Ernest E Chase's second wife. Furnished with an antique FULL "bow" bed, dresser, chair w/automon, a Czechoslovakian crystal chandelier, adjoining bath features a luxurious whirlpool bathtub for 2, pedestal sink, toilet, closet, High quality linens, soaps, shampoo,
hair dryer, extra pillows, room A/C, fan and spa sound clock/radio.  A great Anniversary/Honeymoon suite.The Ernest E. Chase room. Named after the inventor of the famous "Cherry Mash" candy bar who bought and lived in the house w/his wife Emma in 1910.  A picture of Ernest as a young boy hangs in the room. This room features an antique french FULL bed, a desk, a sink built-into existing cabinetry, and french doors that open to the shower and toilet. High quality linens, soaps, shampoo, and hair dryer, room A/C, fan, extra pillows, and spa sound clock/radio.  Jesse James wishes he'd slept here!
You'll enjoy breakfast in our dining room on fine china and silverware.  We serve a full gourmet hearty breakfast that will last you all day.  Selections vary from our Amish casserole, fresh spinach, tomato and feta cheese frittata, country club eggs and many others depending on your length of stay. And you may also want to book a romantic dinner having Chef John's BBQ Grilled sirloin steak, Chicken parmesan, Glazed Cornish Hen or Chicken Cordon Bleu (24 hour notice).Glass of wine and a view!!!!
