We have been to several B&B's in MO, but this one was clearly overpriced. The service was fine, and the food was fine, but the room was too small and far few ammenities for $200 a night.

Travelling home to Massachusetts I was delighted to find a vacancy at this historic inn. The location was ideal for siteseeing, and the room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast at the large dining table allowed interaction with other guests, and the buffet prepared by a friendly, and delightfully interesting cook was a culinary treat. This is a must B&B if you're on the Lewis and Clark Trail, and want to experience the flavor of St.Charles and the feel of Huck Fin plying the Missouri River. I enjoyed my stay immensley.
