Inn Details
A private getaway bed and breakfast in the heart of Missouri's Arcacia Valley, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, scenic sightseers or those just wanting a peaceful country escape. This delightful farmhouse, built in 1908, is located just 2 miles outside of town. A bubbling creek runs behind the house and can be viewed close up with a short walk to The Low Water Bridge. Enjoy the many area attractions, such as the antique shops, carriage rides, Fort Davidson, Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk Mountain, Johnson's Shut-Inns, Black River float trips and the Ozark Trail.

Start your dinner off with an appetizer and your choice of wine or sparkling grape juice, followed by a green salad with Special Plain & Fancy Dressing. Entree choice of either pork, chicken or beef, potato side, vegetable and homemade bread. Follow that with a scrumptious desert. Your candlelit dinner can be served in your room or in one of the inn's dining areas. Dinner for Two - $80.
Hot Tub For Two

Arrange an hour of private time in the Hot Tub. Pick a A Starlit Night and Gaze at the Stars. Use the plush robes in the rooms and walk down to the Hot Tub from the private side door. Fresh towels, scented oil and a bottle of bubbly with glasses will be waiting for you. Hot Tub for two - $35.

This was our second stay at Plain & Fancy and it was just as enjoyable if not more so than the first. Brenda and Tom are exceptional hosts with a knack for details. You will not regret trying this B& B and chances are you WILL be back if you do.

My wife and I had a very nice stay. The breakfast meals were WONDERFUL, and we enjoyed sharing the meal with the other guests. Nice, comfortable, quiet place. Wish we could have stayed longer!
