Windstone House Bed & Breakfast

  • Inn Details

Welcome to Windstone House, a large two-story home with a spacious wrap-around porch and balcony that just invites some good old fashioned porchin'. You may even spot a deer or turkey. You will be served breakfast in our beautiful dining room overlooking the rolling hills and pasture lands. As our guest you are welcome to use each of our 3 common areas; the parlor, library and an upstairs sitting room. Each guest room has been named for a quilt pattern taken from the 1931 Kansas City Star. Upstairs, guests may choose from "The Broken Branch" or "The Crow's Nest". Downstairs you find the "Nosegay" room for guests not wishing to use the stairs. The entire house has been tastefully furnished with antiques and the upstairs guest rooms open out onto the balcony. We have added a basement apartment to accomodate families. The large bedroom has a king size and a queen size bed. It has its own bath and a living room and has an outside entrance.

The rooms were beautiful, as was the whole house. Decking all around up and down and pool table in basement. Food was very good and yummy!
