Brant (the inn keeper) was extremely friendly and helpful. He parked our bikes for us in a safe location and spent a good amount of time going over the lay of the land, recommending restaurants, etc. My wife and I are gluten free freaks and he was very accommodating. The breakfast was okay. We chose this place because it was less expensive than the other places near by. It is very centrally located. We enjoyed sitting by the fire they had going on the patio in the evening. I would recommend it to someone who wants to enjoy Hermann on a budget and who is not expecting anything too fancy. It was perfect for us.

Were looking for change of pace week and short trip to Herman was it. We were only guests at Captain Wohlt Inn which made it better. Had whole house to ourselves. Enjoyed a great dinner at Vintage Restaurant where we again were only diners that night. Our breakfast next morning was delicious plus we had the chance to have long talk with Brant the GM of place.

My husband and I stayed at the inn for New Year's Eve--the town was surprisingly quiet, which was very nice because we weren't looking for a big party. The owner of the inn was very helpful with letting us know what restaurants and bars would be open and what they offered. The room was very clean and breakfast was excellent!

We came to the Inn because we were visiting relatives in Hermann. We could not have been more satisfied. Wonderful innkeepers, and best of all--the breakfasts: homemade pastry, fresh-squeezed juices, sausages from local purveyors and delicious quiches and eggs. We would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone!

The Captain Wohlt Inn was the last stop for three tired Katy Trail bike riders and it turned out to be a very comfortable and spacious B&B. The chocolate chip cookies that welcomed us nearly put us to sleep after we unloaded our gear. We had plenty of room to watch the playoffs and not have to get too cozy. We were three guys after all who were friends but not friendly. Breakfast was tasty and filling enough to get us another fifty miles down the trail. I'd highly recommend the Captain Wohlt Inn to non-bikers as well. It was a great overnight stay. It's the best place in Hermann.
