My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Abigails. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal as was the dessert every evening. Laurie and Gary were very inviting and informative on everything to do around the surrounding area. Our room the Schiller Strasse Parlor Suite was so beautiful. We will definitely be recommending this B & B to our friends and family. We look forward to coming again in the near future.

My wife and I decided to take our 5 year anniversary trip to Hermann over Labor Day weekend 2014. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Abigail and she gave us a detailed 'don't miss' itinerary of Hermann which was exactly what we needed! Our room was greatly designed and detailed, very private (felt like our own apartment), it had a wonderful neutral smell, the AC worked brilliantly as it was a warm weekend! I'd say the part we most enjoyed was the quaint back patio as we sat out back with a bottle of wine in the eve and the next morning enjoyed a plentiful and amazing french toast with summer berries breakfast and coffee. Abigails offered an 11am checkout so we didn't feel rushed and then offered to hold our luggage until our train arrived that evening. Abigails is in the heart of Hermann and shouldn't be missed by anyone stopping through Missouri Wine Country! Cheers, Chris Kansas City

We chose Abigail's in Hermann, MO after reviewing several other B&B's in the area. It turned out to be a wonderful decision, as our room was delightful and so comfortable. Laurie, the owner, met us at upon arrival, and gave us a thorough explanation about the inn and the surrounding area and wineries. She prepared a wonderful dessert which we enjoyed following our anniversary dinner at a winery. And, our gourmet breakfast the next morning was absolutely wonderful. We would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return again some day.

Very nice room in the middle of Hermann. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants, as well as one of the major wineries. Parked right outside the door of the room. Especially friendly innkeepers and good breakfast. Would definitely recommend this B&B.

My wife and I have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before. When our kids gave us a weekend at Herman, We felt uneasy, because I thought that we would be renting out one of their bedrooms, and sharing their bathrooms. Boy were we really blown-away when they opened the door to our room. It was a separate set of rooms, that were sound proof and beautifully decorated in antique furnishings. The bathroom was off from our bedroom, and even though the house was filled with amazing antiques, the bathroom gave the early 1900 atmosphere, but used modern facilities that added to the "homely" welcome that we enjoyed all weekend. Laurie and Gary were gracious hostesses, who shared their outstanding background and Herman. After a short introduction, we felt like we were staying with family, and yet the sense of privacy was always there. The food was outstanding, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the Happy Wanderer room and were so pleased with the beautiful furnishings. The room is in a separate building and we had complete privacy. We loved the special dessert that was left in your room each evening. The porch area had separate tables for two to have your breakfast and the setting was so quaint. Gary and Laurie are great hosts and made sure you were always taken care of.
