Robard's Mansion Bed and Breakfast
Built in 1871, a classic Italianate brick three story house built by a boyhood friend of Mark Twain, offers spacious rooms, a flying staircase all the way to the third floor, original marble fireplaces, huge pocket doors separating the two parlors. Original inside shutters still are in use in many of the 9' lace covered windows. Ceilings are 12 1/2 feet high and each room has a closet. Each room has a private bath and some have refrigerators. Ice and cold drinks are always available in the kitchen on the main floor for the guests. Walking distance of Mississippi River and antique shops downtown.
