ou'll feel like royalty as you enter the Grand Hall with its magnificent parquet floor and burl walnut archway. In the adjoining parlor filled with Victorian antiques, a cozy fireplace beckons in winter and tall bay windows bring in summer's cheerful light. Gentlemen will marvel at the unique architecture of the house, while ladies delight in its vintage appeal.Miss Jamie's Study. Beautiful maroon, forest green, and golden jewel tones color this room, delightfully decorated with musical and writing themes. Charlotte Jameson, the last in a long line of Jamesons to live in the house, taught voice and music at nearby William Woods University--and your host Cate, is a writer and writing a book on the history of the Jamesons. You'll spend a restful night in the engraved antique bed with its cozy feather mattress, warmed by the glow of the fireplace, after basking in the solarium bath's spa tub for two.
The Renaissance Suite. Romance flows from this room, evidenced by art and photos of couples in love, from knights in shining armor to a prom photo of Cate's parents. With its adjoining sitting room and deluxe rainhead shower, this room is all about soft sophistication with its gentle tones of salmon and beige. The antique canopy bed is the perfect spot for watching flickering flames in the fuel-burning fireplace or gazing out one of seven large windows at the historic neighborhood beyond. The Victorian Rose room. If you love roses, this garden of blooms is the place for you! From its rosy pinks and greens to its comfy wicker chairs, roses abound on the walls, rugs, pillows, art, and decorations. Dream the night away under a canopied bed or while enjoying a rose-scented bath in the antique claw-footed tub. Sip wine on your very own private outdoor balcony while gazing down at tea roses in the Spring.
Grand staircase, and 1927 Steinway baby grand piano.Charming screened in back prorch, overlooking the serene gardens, provide a perfect romantic atmosphere for our B&B.
The spacious lawn and serene gardens provide a perfect romantic atmosphere for our tranquil inn.
