Welcome to the Inn on Crescent Lake, located in historic Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Only 30 miles from downtown Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City International Airport, the Inn is perfectly situated for a relaxing weekend getaway and provides an excellent lodging alternative to business travelers. The stately three-story 1915 Georgian Colonial mansion sits on 22 acres and is surrounded by two crescent-shaped ponds, historically known as Crescent Lake. The Inn was meticulously renovated in 1997. While the architectural integrity of the Inn was preserved, all of the rooms were completely modernized. Unwind in the extraordinary comfort of the solarium or the beautifully appointed living room. Each of the Inn's ten luxurious sleeping rooms and suites contain a collection of antiques and refined furnishings. Each room is decorated with its own charm and personality and features a large private bath, individual temperature control, cable television and elegant toiletries. Indulge yourself in a six-foot whirlpool tub, a standard whirlpool tub or an authentic, old-fashioned claw-footed tub. Outside at the Inn you will find a swimming pool, seven person hot tub, paddle boats, a bass boat and walking paths. In addition to being one of the area's most romantic getaway locations, the Inn offers an incredible setting for private parties, weddings, corporate retreats and other special events.

Our stay at Inn on Crescent Lake was the most relaxing get away. The couples massage the night of arrival was a great way to start things off. The Tuscany suite was the perfect retreat for our get away. This is a wonderful place to disappear and reconnect ... Ahhh

My husband and I have stayed here for the first time for our anniversary. The inn is secluded and private. We were pleased with the room and overall atmosphere and will stay again.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and stayed in the cottage at the Inn on Cresent Lake. It was romantic, the scenery and grounds were beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. We can't wait to go back, it will be a yearly destination for us from now on.

Perfect weekend getaway....quiet, secluded, charming, hospitable. Beverly and her husband have created a wonderful experience to unwind in peace. We recommend the couples massage as well...what a great bonus. Mark and Amanda

My wife and I shared an anniversary weekend at The Inn on Crescent Lake. From booking to checkout, Beverly was extremely accommodating and helpful--such a wonderful personality--and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I opted for the Anniversary package so we were also greeted with chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room (plus breakfast delivered the next day). The Garden room was extremely clean and had the benefits of our own private entrance and hot tub. The rest of the Inn was really neat and peaceful to walk around the grounds and paddle-boat around the lake. We will definitely go back.

My hubby and I stayed in the cottage for a small honeymoon. It was wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, relaxing and quiet. Which is perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, rekindling with your partner or just to get away for a few days. The breakfast was delicious. There is a bunch of stuff you can do around this area like vineyards, bar and restaurants. We're already planning to go back for our anniversary next year. I know it's a little bit more money than hotels, but it was total worth it!!
