Welcome to the Inn on Crescent Lake, located in historic Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Only 30 miles from downtown Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City International Airport, the Inn is perfectly situated for a relaxing weekend getaway and provides an excellent lodging alternative to business travelers. The stately three-story 1915 Georgian Colonial mansion sits on 22 acres and is surrounded by two crescent-shaped ponds, historically known as Crescent Lake. The Inn was meticulously renovated in 1997. While the architectural integrity of the Inn was preserved, all of the rooms were completely modernized. Unwind in the extraordinary comfort of the solarium or the beautifully appointed living room. Each of the Inn's ten luxurious sleeping rooms and suites contain a collection of antiques and refined furnishings. Each room is decorated with its own charm and personality and features a large private bath, individual temperature control, cable television and elegant toiletries. Indulge yourself in a six-foot whirlpool tub, a standard whirlpool tub or an authentic, old-fashioned claw-footed tub. Outside at the Inn you will find a swimming pool, seven person hot tub, paddle boats, a bass boat and walking paths. In addition to being one of the area's most romantic getaway locations, the Inn offers an incredible setting for private parties, weddings, corporate retreats and other special events.

What a tremendous spot for a relaxing get-away where you can forget about all the ugliness in the world and just take it easy. We met some wonderful folks, some who have become close friends. We would highly recommend it to any one close or far away to try out the Inn on Crescent Lake. The menu is wonderful and not the normal breakfasts youmight expect and the staff is great.

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Room a few weekends ago for our wedding anniversary. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and our room was perfect. I have already recommended this place to several friends. It is a great place to go if you want a relaxing weekend away. We spent much of our time by the pool, my wife enjoyed her massage, and we enjoyed going into town to walk around the shops and eat at some local favorites.

This was our 1st time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and this was better than anything I had seen online. The place was beautifully nestled back off the road with a nice lake, pool, and plenty of area to walk, and spend time with your spouse. The innkeepers were fantastic and would love to go back again!

I had never stayed in a B and B, so I did not know what to expect. I was looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing trip and found the Inn on the web. It was wonderful. The place is beautiful and the owner/staff are all magnificent. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

Beverly and Craig made us feel like extended family. Their Inn and property are beautiful. This was our first trip here but not our last (we are already making plans for a return trip). The rooms and property were clean. The Inn exudes charm and we enjoyed the amenities. Recommend exploring the property, by land and water. Shirley and Michael

The B&B lived up to its motto. The quite environment let us relax and rejuvenate. We were pleasantly surprised - especially my wife as she was unaware of our stay until shortly before our arrival. A hidden gem!
