Inn on Crescent Lake

My husband and I recently went to the Inn of Crescent Lake and had a lovely stay! We loved the Ballroom suite and would definitely go there again! It was so quiet and peaceful!

My wife and I recently spent a wonderful weekend at the Inn on Crescent Lake for our 22nd anniversary. The staff made us feel special and the room was very well appointed. From the moment we arrived through the beautiful gate, we felt relaxed. We will definitely be making a return visit.

We stayed at the Inn on April 25,2013 in the Tuscany. It was fantastic and the weather was great. We went fishing on the lake and enjoyed the fresh air and the turtles. We had fun on the paddle boat. We also enjoyed walking the trail to Kissing Point. The evening was great for the hot tub and enjoying the fire pit which was right outside the room. The Tuscany is a beautiful amazing room, from the Jacuzzi tub to the wonderful sitting area. We enjoyed the romance package with the champagne, roses and chocolate strawberries and a awesome breakfast delivered to the room. It was great and I had a FABULOUS time. I will remember my stay in the Tuscany and how wonderful Beverly and Craig are! YOU ARE FABULOUS! Thank you GayJean

My husband and I spent our first weekend married there last month and were blown away by the service, atmosphere, and cleanliness/freshness of the room and house. Breakfast was amazing.....every morning! Location is wonderful...not to close to a whole lot of noise(it was SO peaceful and quite) and not too far away from going to town for a date. Such a lovely place for ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants privacy and peace. I hope to go back there someday! I felt like a princess there. My wife and I spent the weekend of April 5-7 in the Tuscany suite. The room was soooo comfortable, well decorated, and exceeded my expectations. The owner, Beverly, is a pleasure to talk to. She was very personable, gracious, and cheerful. We had amazing food during our stay, the couples massage was just amazing, and the atmosphere and environment were very relaxing. We took out a paddleboat, went for a long walk on the property, and had an all around great time. Based on our experience, Beverly's friendliness, and the privacy we enjoyed in our suite, we decided to come back every year. Can't say enough good about this place.

My husband and I just spent our third weekend get-away at the Inn on Crescent Lake and have booked another during Memorial Day weekend. It is a wonderful place for couples to de-stress and commune with nature and each other. Can't say enough good things about our favorite B&B. Kathy and Ray

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Crescent Lake. We appreciated the beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and were able to relax and unwind. Our visit exceeded my expectations, as we enjoyed quiet time together in our comfortable room. Not only is the Inn beautiful, but our walk on the property was equally impressive. Would recommend the Romance Package for those interested...the chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and breakfast in bed the next morning, were all fantastic! Many thanks to Beverly and Craig.

We've been to many B&B's all over the world during our 25 year marriage. The Inn on Crescent Lake has to be in our top 5. The Inn itself is simply lovely. The quiet, country grounds tempted us outside to explore even in the dead of winter. I can only imagine how beautiful they'll be this summer. We found three fabulous restaurants, wine shops, lots of antiques, and quirky art shops in historic Excelsior Springs nearby. I highly recommend this Inn!

Quite, clean, charming, great food! I loved the property. But even better than that, we stayed in the poolhouse suite away from the main house. The room is spacious & private! We were also close to the hot tub. You have the option of having breakfast in your room, and the food was delicious. This feels like you are in the country but it's actually not too far from civilization. About an hour from Kansas City.

I was surprised by my fiance after a difficult week at work with an overnight trip to this B&B. It was just what the doctor ordered! We are even looking into holding our wedding at the property! The property owners were very outgoing and willing to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you Beverly!!!

My hubby and I spent two nights in the Garden Room. The room was located on the main floor. It was very comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the private outdoor hot tub for two. This Inn was really amazing! The property and the entire home were beautiful. The owners and the staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were delicious too. I have food restrictions. This was a last minute reservation for us due to weather. Beverly was so great about everything including accommodating my food restrictions. The Inn was also located shortly outside the main downtown of Excelsior Springs. We drove around the town prior to checking in. We wanted to go exploring during our stay but extremely bad winter weather hit the area so we decided to just relax at the Inn. The property looked like an amazing winter wonderland. Our stay was very peaceful and romantic. It was so nice having a chance to unwind. We definitely want to return again someday when the weather is nicer. Stayed at Tuscany and found it to be secluded, private and very romantic. Excellent accomodations, huge suite, and comfortable bed. Having the jacuzzi in the room was excellent and the bathroom was enormous. While in Excelsior Springs, visit the Hall of Waters and the Paradise Playhouse. Stroll downtown and enjoy the shopping.

This was the perfect place to go to have peace and quiet surrounded by nature and beauty. Me and my fiance came here for a night and did not want to leave, we enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to many more nights to come. If you are looking to get away and enjoying alone time with a loved one this is the place to be. It was very relaxing, calming, peaceful, and quite. The owners really make it feel as if you are family and at home. Absolutely loved it, best of all it doesn't feel like a hotel!

We did it all! I'm so glad for the early check-in option. It was a surprise 50th bday gift for my husband. We walked the nature path and made use of "kissing point" then shared some of the families French wine as deer passed through. Boarded the paddle boat (with wine in hand) and drifted close to lounging turtles. The peace of God seemed to saturate the land. Then, jumped into the row boat and took turns fumbling around like a couple of goobers laughing and enjoying our break from technology. Made our way to the electric fishing boat and enjoyed wine and cheese watching the sunset. Headed to the beautiful Tuscany room with a private two person jacuzzi. The pool was closed for winter but relaxing in the hot tub with the cool night air and haunted moon was a perfect end to the day. We read the tragic but interestingly compelling and faith filled storyteller of Beverly's life and were so happy to meet her when she delivered our French breakfast. What a talented, positive, out-going and friendly personality. I can't believe this paradise is just outside Kansas City so we plan on sharing the news. What a great place for conferences, weddings, or as a romantic get away! The wine honor bar was a nice touch!

This is a beautiful place and Beverly is incredibly nice and welcoming. Breakfast was superb. The stay was much better than my expectations of a bed and breakfast!! We stayed in the Garden Room and want to go back and try every room!

We chose the Inn on Crescent Lake for a short honeymoon and are thankful that we did. The place is very clean, historic and just as beautiful as the photos. The staff was helpful, but gave us our space. The pool, small lake and walking trails were all nice to have on-site. I accidentally left a bottle of my perfume in our room. I called Beverly and she talked with her staff right away. They mailed the perfume right back to me. I was very impressed at that level of customer service. My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at the Crescent Lake Inn and our stay exceeded our expectations. The Hostess, Beverly was very hospitable and it was clear that she was dedicated to making our stay rememberable. We will definitely return for futures stays.

Four friends (female) stayed here for 3 nights for a little reunion. We had the Carriage House and the Tuscany room in the pool house. I stayed in the Carriage house so will only comment on that. We had everything we needed including comfortable seating for all of us during our gab sessions. The kitchen was all we needed with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, etc. The bedroom and main bath were on the 2nd floor which we had no problem accessing. There is also a half bath on the main floor. This is a beautiful property and the hosts could not have been more gracious. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Beth K. from Minnesota

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. We felt like we had the whole mansion to ourselves, even though we knew other people were staying there. It was everything you would expect in a bed and breakfast and more. Every expectation we had was exceeded. Incredibly clean, great service, beautiful and romantic rooms, complete privacy, and great food! We loved it! Only issue we had was we bought pizza the second night and there was no mini fridge or microwave to store it or heat it up for later. But for a one night stay, you could not ask for anything better!

My husband and I stayed in the Crescent Suite for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. It is the perfect room for romance, tub soaking and reading. It was very private and quiet. The staff were very kind and helpful. We will definitely spread the word about this bed and breakfast and make a return trip soon!

My husband and I recentlly went to the Inn and stayed in the Tuscany suite. Had a wonderful time, celebrating our anniversary. The suite was in the pool house, so we had our own private area most of the time. The property is gorgeous with a short trail and paddle boats in the pond. Breakfast was fabulous and everyone was super friendly and polite. The nearby town was interesting as well.

We stayed here for a girls gathering. We needed a getaway and this was the perfect place. We laughed, paddled in the boats, dipped in the pool and lounged in the hot tub. The staff was very friendly, Breakfast was delicious! Wish we could have had more time to enjoy it more! Beverly was a true hostess and very personable! Glad we chose this place.

We had a great time here. Everything was just what we were looking for. We stayed in the cottage and really enjoyed the spaciousness and privacy it afforded. Beverly was very friendly. My boyfriend proposed to me at Kissing Point on our first night there. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend and left happy and relaxed!

Beautifil interior of the mansion, beautiful grounds, pool is amazing, very relaxing and private, excellent breakfast and homemade snacks. The "extras" you can pay for are worth it as well - the chocolate covered strawberries are divine, and the dozen roses awaiting in the room were beautiful! Highly recommend this to everyone!

Beverly was wonderful and provided a beautiful stay for us to celebrate our anniversary. We spent the day at the pool, walked on the trail, and even got a private tour of the wine cellar! It by far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return time and again.

This B&B was wonderful. Our room was fastidious. The grounds were very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was not having our swim suits to be able to use the beautiful pool. (Our mistake) Beverly was a very warm and gracious hostess. Will definitely recommend this to our friends, and will plan a return visit ourselves.

Our first visit did not disappoint! The house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The room was clean and well cared for. And the breakfast was excellent. We've stayed at quite a few B&Bs and we've only had good experiences, but this was the first time we've said, "We HAVE to come back!"

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in a few weeks and wanted to getaway one last time for a mini "Babymoon." I knew we just wanted to relax and not do much, the Inn on Crescent Lake was the perfect place to do just that! We stayed in the Paris room which has an awesome view of the front lawn and pool. I enjoyed the jetted tub while the hubby enjoyed the flatscreen and King size bed. We spent a whole day by the refreshing pool only leaving to get lunch and dinner. (there are some eclectic restaurant choices in/near Excelsior Springs). Breakfast was wonderful and filling! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon!

My husband booked our anniversary getaway for the Inn at Crescent Lake in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. What a wonderful surprise it was! We stayed at the cottage on the property and it was beautifully decorated with many amenities. They had wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and flowers waiting for us to help us celebrate our 36th anniversary. The grounds are beautiful. We took a quiet paddle boat ride around the lake and also walked the trails. So awesome! The bed at the cottage was very comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty! Beverly, the owner, is very gracious and accomodating. We will most definitely stay there again, hopefully every anniversary!

We have been staying at the Inn for several years, going when we need a day to relax, get away and forget about all the pressure life brings. It has never failed us! Craig and Beverly are the perfect, gracious hosts - there when needed but always respecting time for privacy. The Inn is impectabily kept and the amminities are wonderful. Breakfast has always been delicious! The peace and quiet is priceless!

My husband and I were able to find an inspirational radio station, inspirational tv station, time to pray together, time to read the Bible together, and time to share the joys of marriage with other couples. The best part of our experience was meeting multiple husband and wife couples that we were able to laugh with, discuss the exciting parts of our lives that we look forward to, and take delight in the freedom of being able to experience real intimacy in our marriages as God intended, without guilt and shame and the children God has allowed us to create together. We were really excited to experience our Creator by watching a baby raccoon climb down the tree next to our window, the turtles along the banks of the water, and the "bagworm" that we were so excited about because we thought it was a butterfly coming out of it's cocoon and then matter of factly informed by the man outside of the BBQ non-smoking portion of the town restaurant the truth. We had fun laughing at ourselves and the silly things we experienced together. A great environment overall to re-gain the focus of a relationship.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Inn. Words cannot express the beauty, comfortness, attention to detail, and the excellence we found! It is truely a pearl in the oyster! Excelsior seems like a 'hole in the wall' if you drive through the town, but the Inn on Crescent Lake is a hidden gem. I would have never guessed that a 5 star establishment could be found in such an area! The amenities are all beyond our expectations, the rooms have attention to comfort and detail that we have never seen in a B&B. The wonderful sun room, lake with paddle boats, pool, jacuzzi, and great room were beautiful, and the food was obviously prepared by a super chef!!. My husband and I just returned from our second stay at The Inn on Crescent Lake. Both stays we're perfect. We have stayed in both The Tuscany Suite and The Cottage. Both are beautiful and we are looking forward to staying in one of the mansion rooms on our next visit. The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous! My husband and I enjoyed swimming, fishing and taking the paddle boat and row boat out on the lake. The food is delicious and the innkeepers are extremely kind and helpful!

My husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs and I have to say this is our new favorite. We stayed in the Ballroom suite and it was beautiful. There were complimentary cookies, soda, coffee, tea, water, hot choc. and granola bars. We purchased a bottle of wine from a nice selection. The bed was very comfortable. This Inn also has magazines in the solarium and movies in the front hall. We also enjoyed the music/CDs in our room by the stereo. We brought our kindle fire thinking we would use the free wi-fi, but enjoyed the room so much we never thought about getting online. Walking trail was fun - we saw deer hoof prints on the path. Would have loved to spend 2 days so we could fit in the pool, hot tub and paddle boats :)

Our stay at the inn was awesome with beautiful scenery and amazing breakfasts. Craig and Beverly are wonderful hosts and our room , the Crescent, at the top of the house, was peaceful and quiet. Great getaway!

The grounds/rooms very clean and inviting with personal photographs and photo albums scattered about. Very personal attention from innkeeper, as well as other staff. Delicious breakfasts. A problem with the room that was just an unforseen maintenance issue was resolved by a move to another room, a gift certificate for a return visit, a bottle of wine, and too many apologies. Their effort to ensure our satisfaction was genuine.

me and my husband spent one night there for are 5 years anniversery it was a great get away very clean nice people all around.just wish you could have choose your breakfast and if you get a room with a hot tub may leave some bubbles and/our bath beads for the hot tub in your room.i wish would could have meet both owners of the mansion but craig was very nice and did great job while wife was away. craig i give you a 5 star. we will be back to get the tuscany suite r the garden room.thanks for the good time we had in the creasent room. hope to see you both real soon.keep up the grar work.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary and loved it! We took the last available room but it never seemed packed or busy, in fact we only saw 1 other couple. We added the romance package and enjoyed breakfast in our room which was delicious!! Although this is an older place , it is well kept, updated and very clean. We loved it and cannot wait to go back!

This bed and breakfast is a wonderful weekend getaway. My husband loves to fish, so this place was perfect for him to relax and fish. The rooms were very clean. The service was out of this world, AND the price was very, very reasonable.

This is the perfect place to relax from the stress of life. We are already planning the return visit. Absolutely loved it!!

This was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, secluded and beautiful. Our short stay only left us wanting more. Highly recommend the Inn for that perfect romantic weekend! All the privacy you want is taken into consideration. Hope to make it a yearly thing!

My husband and I visited the Inn on our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it is an older property, it is very clean inside and outside, including the well manicured lawn, garden, etc. We stayed for one night in the Paris Room, and loved it. The room was immaculately clean. No dust anywhere. Every detail of the room represented something in Paris. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptous! We ate slowly just to prolong the food.. .that's how good it was. We paid for the romance package which added a nice touch to our room and celebration and having breakfast delivered to the room was nice too. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, walking trail to the kissing point, ping pong. Next time we go we will make sure to do the paddle boats and the massage.Although all 10 rooms were occupied the weekend we stayed (5-19-2012and 5-20-2012) we only saw a few guests and no one disturbed anyone or got in the way at all. Everyone still enjoyed their privacy. We recommend this bed and breakfast. The service was great and the innkeeper, Beverly, is so graciously warm and inviting. It's like the staff was available yet invisible. They truly respected the guests privacy. One note to keep in mind. . .in downtown Excelsior, where most of the restaurants and shops are located, they close early on a Saturday evening/night and on Sunday most of them don't even open. It would be nice if the City of Excelsior really vamp up the tourism component of their city since most people who visit are tourists. There are a few things to do outside the Inn, like Wabash Barbeque Live Music Concerts, but not a lot. Still with this, we plan to return to the Inn at Crescent Lake!

My husband took me here for Mother's Day! I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was perfect! Everything from the linens to the hand soap was outstanding. The grounds were breath taking. Beverly was fantastic! You can see her passion for what she does! Can't wait to come back and visit!

My girlfriend and I loved the Inn! The owners are very nice and try very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The lodge is warm and inviting with rooms set up in different themes - which made it fairly hard for me to pick out which room to reserve - but that's a good thing! we were on my motorcycle and it rained out our plans for dinner. We bought a bottle of the owner's family wine, ordered in a pizza, and watched a romantic movie from their collection of DVDs. Made the very best of a bad situation. My GF and I both had a great time and will definitely be back in the future!

My husband and I went to Inn on Crescent Lake this past weekend and it was truly amazing. Not only was the staff polite but the rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. The ambiance of the entire property was so relaxing and welcoming. Everything felt as though Beverly put her passion into making it as tranquil as possible. Even the soaps and linens smell wonderful. The food was awesome and I'm going to miss walking around the lake every morning after breakfast. We can't wait to visit the Inn on Crescent Lake in the future.

I have nothing but love to say about this wonderful B&B. My husband and I just returned from our second stay at the Inn on Crescent Lake. The Inn is very well maintained and everything is immaculately clean. The gorgeous well manicured grounds are so beautiful and provide an oasis from the crazy pace of regular life. Take an early morning walk on the small path behind the mansion and you might get a glimpse of a deer coming out from the small wooded area. My husband and I saw deer, blue herons, a wild turkey as well as many varieties of birds from the sitting area outside of our garden room. The breakfast that is included with a night's stay is very delicious and extremely well done. We were served quiche with bacon and muffins and very tasty stuffed french toast with sausage and melons. This was no continental breakfast that you get at hotel chains. The atmosphere of the Inn is so inviting and elegant but still homey and comfortable. I can't say enough good things. We had two wonderful visits and wouldn't hesitate to return over and over again.

We stayed at the Inn on Crescent Lake as a romantic getaway. Our only disappointment was that we should have stayed two nights instead of only one. The inn was fantastic. The breakfast was extremely good. And the accommodations could not have been better. We are planning a return visit!!!

.....is all she could mouth as we pulled into the drive. I surprised my girlfriend with a night at the Inn on Crescent Lake for Valentines. She had no idea where we were going. Obviously the view from the road at night is amazing. Walking in the front door was just as good. Everything is very organized & very clean. We stayed in the "Ballroom". It's on the third floor but only two rooms on that floor (more privacy) made it worth the trip up the stairs. What an amazing room! Canopy bed, reading area with fireplace, huge bathroom. The bathtub fits two very comfortably. I ordered the "Romance Package" which was well worth the cost. Sparkling wine, chocolate covered strawberries, & breakfast served in our room. Unfortunately(?) we didn't get out of the room to see any of the other great features of the Inn other than a swift walk around the Mansion before leaving in the morning. We can't wait to return when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the pool & grounds. What a great place. I will recommend this place to everyone.

I took my wife here for Valentines Day and her birthday. Had never heard of this B&B borfore. Simply searched Google with Valentines Day ideas in Missouri and found the Inn. I have never been a big fan of B&B's, but this has the homely feeling of a B&B and the privacy and luxury of a 5 star hotel! All of the luxuries and amenities you could ever want. We will definitely be coming back here to stay in some of the different rooms that we were able to tour while here.

This was by far, the most relaxing & romantic weekend getaway anyone could ask for! My boyfriend I stayed in the garden room, with our own private entrance & our own outdoor hot tub! We now recommend the Outposte Grill if you're the outdoorsy-woodsy beer drinkin kind! We had everything needed to have a great night. Next time we go, we definitely know that we need to stay for 2 evenings...one evening just wasn't enough!

My wife and I needed some time away from all the stress of daily living. If you're looking for a getaway, this is your place! We stayed in the Cottage. It was wonderful!!!! With the Cottage being set apart from the mansion, it was very private. When staying in the Cottage, they deliver your breakfast to the cottage if you'd like. Breakfast was very good(full plate of food). We also enjoyed a great couples massage, in a very comfortable room. They recomend the Ventana Gourmet Grill, which I now recomend. Put all of this together and it was the best weekend getaway my wife and I have had!

My wife and I stayed for only one night for our honeymoon before our trip on a cruise. But the place was absolutely wonderful and the room was excellent. We can't wait to book a more extended stay in the future!!!

We found the Inn at Crescent Lake while searching the internet for a B&B in the Greater KC area, We are very glad that we chose to stay here instead of the other choices. The Inn is magnificent and well kept. Beautifully light up at night and very easy to access. Beverly, the hostess of the Inn is very hospitable and very talented. My Wife and I look forward to spending more time at the Inn as occasion permits.

My husband and I stayed in the Cottage for our Anniversary getaway for the weekend. It was beautifully decorated and very cozy. We truly enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the wonderful views of the property. We took a walk around the Crescent Lake to the Kissing Point. The Inn itself is kept in immaculate condition-not even a missing brick! One thing we appreciated was the complete privacy. We have stayed a several B&B's where the Innkeeper lingered longer than we would have liked, but at The Inn on Crescent Lake, Beverly shoewed us to our cottage and then gave us total privacy! This place would be perfect for a wedding...which we are keeping in mind for our 4 daughters! We will definitely visit this B&B again!

We have stayed at the Inn on Crescent Lake four times now. When we want a nice getaway that is the only place we think of. We like staying in a different room each time because each one has its own special charm. The host is wonderfully cheerful and inviting.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, warm and inviting, gorgeous home and grounds, impecably decorated. We got the honeymoon package. Our vase of roses were so incredibly fresh and perfect that I had trouble convincing my new husband that they were even real! GIANT chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and juicy. The inn is cleaner than clean, and even the linens and towels had a wonderful fresh, clean, but not-too-sweet smell to them. There was always complimentary hot chocolate, soda, and snacks available. This inn is just awesome and we intend on going back often. Beverly Delugeau has exquisite taste in decorating and knows how to run her business. I have absolutely no complaints and only the highest praise for this establishment.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding. Very accommodating and made me feel at home.

A hidden gem. Stepping back in time with all the comforts of today. Beautiful, unique, relaxing and very romantic. Very quite and private.

We just returned from celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. Since this is where we spent our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely, we found it only befitting to return where the romance began. Eventhough I enjoyed my stay in the other rooms, the Cottage has become my favorite. It has all of the amenities one could dream of. I guarantee it will be a lasting memory. The B's

The stay was very enjoyable and the cottage was very Nice. My new husband and I enjoyed our night there with the honeymoon package so the strawberries and champange was great, the flowers were beautiful but we did not get the picture that was part of the package because of tech difficulties that stunk. But the overall experience was great.

I spent the weekend at Inn on Crescent Lake and I could not have been happier with my stay. We stayed 1 night for my anniversary and we were beyond satisfied with our experience. You can tell that all of the employees really care about the bed and breakfast because nothing has been overlooked. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the grounds were absolutely breathtaking. We had breakfast in the solarium the next morning and I felt like I hadn't eaten so well in months. My wife and I just spent 3 wonderful nights stay at the Inn on Crescent Lake!! This was our third stay at the Inn and we will be back again!! Also, we have stayed in three different rooms, all wonderful. Not only is it a beautiful Inn, with beautiful rrooms and grounds, but the Beverly and her staff are welcoming, warm, firendly, and provide great personal service. Breakfast is great and they accommodated my wife that requires gluten-free. You will want to go back without a doubt; we do.

We stayed for our 4th Anniversary. We fell in love with this property even before we were married. The Inn is such a beautiful and historic home, you'll certainly fall in love with its charm as well. My only complaint this time was that the bed was extremely firm in the Casbah Room, so we didn't sleep well. The service is very friendly and attentive. Your room includes free snacks and sodas, as well as an honor bar stocked with Bud Light/Mich Ultra and imported French wines. We enjoyed coming back so we could explore the property without all the bustle of a wedding. We took the paddleboat out on the pond, sat by the fire pit and talked, and simply marveled at this great property. Highly recommended.

My husband and I just wed last Saturday, and wanted a mini-honeymoon near KC as we are going out of the country in the winter. I had happened upon the website for the Inn on Crescent Lake a few years ago and had always wanted to visit, but time had slipped away. We decided to book four nights, sight unseen, for our local honeymoon. Although we arrived late, Beverly the innkeeper greeted us with her warm hospitality and went over a few details about the inn. We had booked the Carriage House, which offered absolute luxury and maximum romance and solitude. Wow! The romance package included chocolate-dipped strawberries, a bottle of excellent Spanish Cave, and red roses. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful location, the intense stress of hosting a wedding out of town (we are not from KC, but rather used it as a good central location for family from all corners of the US and several from abroad) and dealing with family and about a thousand last-minute emergencies started to evaporate. We loved stargazing from the hot tub, bathing in our private jacuzzi, and the breakfast in bed. The lake was so much fun to paddle around! Although I didn't try my hand at fishing, my husband spent a nice afternoon doing this while I read in the hammock. I cannot say enough about how absolutely delightful this true treasure is- the photos online are practically a disservice to the inn. If you want romance and beauty, definitely stay here!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding annivesary at The Inn on Crescent Lake. It was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The entire place was beautiful and the pool was great. The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were fabulous. We enjoyed walking on the nature trail and saw several deer while we were out. We also enjoyed sitting in the great room and looking through all of the photo albums. We are planning on spending every anniversary at the Inn from now on. It was such a relaxing weekend. We didn't want it to come to an end.

We chose the Ballroom suite for our anniversary celebration and it was so perfect that we really didn't want to leave it. Pictures give only a slight idea of how special this room is but we did see other rooms that were not being utilized at that time and they were all quite unique and extremely well maintained. The food was wonderful and the walking trail along with the staff and Beverly was a great extra. They go out of their way to make your time special. We will be back!

I just surprised my husband by bringing him here for our anniversary. I wanted someplace peaceful where I could get away but I also wanted something he would enjoy - FISHING! Just the two of us...we went fishing, went out to dinner at a local joint, and sat under the stars and listened to the fire crack in the fire pit. The room we stayed in was perfect. Cozy, quiet, comfortable. Then breakfast was to die for!! We were both completly relaxed and rejuvinated when we left. Just left yesterday, and we're already planning our next visit!! This was the first B&B my husband and I have ever stayed at. Any expectations we had were greatly exceeded. The breakfast was wonderful and the innkeeper was so nice. This is definately a place we will visit regularly.

My wife & I had the most wonderful stay at the Inn at Crescent Lakes. We immediately felt more like friends that were visiting as opposed to mere patrons. I have a highly intensive job and was able to immediately "disconnect" and focus on my wife as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. The property is secluded and very well cared for. We personally enjoyed the trails, lake, ping pong table and getting to know Beverly as she is a wonderful hostess. The inn is beautiful and the architecture is amazing. The lounge areas were very comfortable and relaxing. Our only disappointment was that we could only stay one night. Stay here. It will not disappoint.

We spent two nights for our thirtieth wedding anniversary and thought it was wonderful. Beverly, the owner, is a pure delight. The rooms were sparkling clean, the cleanest of any rooms anywhere we've ever stayed. The breakfasts were yummy, and the service and hosjpitality were unsurpassed. The grounds are well kept and very peaceful. We added the anniversary package on to our room, and were very impressed with the quality of what we received. We would stay again in a heartbeat, and have put it on our "to do again" list. We've highly recommended it to everyone we've talked to since we've been home.

The Inn on Crescent Lake is a great get-away! We celebrated our 24th anniversary. We loved the cottage. Beverly's recommended restaurants in Excellsior Springs were fabulous! And the couple's massage was a great way to start our relaxation! We highly recommend this unique picturesque B&B!

The property was BEAUTIFUL! We only stayed one night, but wished we could stay longer, we had so much fun with the paddle boats, outdoor ping pong table and swimming pool! Our room was GORGEOUS and HUGE and the whirlpool tub was to die for! They have a stocked fridge of complimentary sodas which was great and suggested a WONDERFUL restaurant to us, though the directions to it were a little hard to follow, it was well worth it! We enjoyed the quiet, since the inn was a bit off the beaten path, but not too far, because town was nearby with all the conveniences we needed. But, the BEST part had to be our breakfast! It was literally the BEST MEAL we have ever eaten!!! STAY HERE!

The inn at Cresent lake is one of a kind and a truly special B&B!

Beverly love and passion comes out in her homemade breakfast, whether served in the massion or your room. She is the definition of hospitality. You will enjoy any of the variety of rooms. We had the pool house and loved being so close to the well maintained pool. The first afternoon there, we saw a deer run across the beautiful property.

We had a another wonderful stay at this most beautiful Inn. We wish however that Smoking would be prohibited within the gated swimming/hottub area. This is also where the Spa and outdoor firepit are. Sadly guests who don't smoke or are allergic to smoke cannot always enjoy all these anemities if others are smoking. A simple sign would suffice. It is private property and smoking can be prohibited to only designated areas outside by the Innkeeper.

My husband and I stayed at the inn to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful time. We stayed in the Garden Room, which had a private entrance and porch. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed a very romantic evening. The pool and grounds were very nice and well maintained. Beverly was a great hostess and made us feel very welcome while respecting our privacy. We stayed one evening which really was not enough time. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Inn to all my friends and family.

My wife and I loved the fact that we were away from home but not too far. The Tuscany was a beautiful room away from the main house, which we enjoyed as well. The pool was great and well maintained. We wanted to use the hot tub, but it appeared to be overheated; no biggie. The in room whirlpool was extremely nice and very romantic. The Anniversary Package that I suprised my wife with was money well spent. The flowers were gorgeous, the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne were delicious. The breakfast in bed was good but too fancy for my taste (I'm just an old country boy; eggs, bacon and pancakes would suffice). We would definitely stay at the Inn again, probably for our anniversary next year!

We enjoyed the inn but would like to see more information on things to do in the area(brochures).

My wife and I were attending my nephew's wedding in Excelsior Springs and looked at another hotel where the wedding party had reserved rooms. We decided not to reserve at that hotel due to past bad experience and reviews on the internet. We saw the Inn and decided to stay there. Needless to say, we had a wonderful experience and will be back to the property. The ambience, the decor, the personal attention and the true love story that Beverly experienced added to the warm atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed here at the invitation of our daughter and her husband. They had stayed here for their honeymoon and fell in love with it! We stayed in the Garden room and it was very relaxing and private, with it's own entrance and hot tub. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong table, walking the grounds and visiting with Beverly and her daughter. Beverly is the ultimate hostess with her bubbly and inviting personality. Snacks and beverages are offered 24 hours a day and wine from their family winery in France available for purchase. The food was delicious, also. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and will definitely go back!

My husband and I went to the Inn on Crescent Lake to reconnect and have some time to ourselves after a long military deployment. This was the perfect place! There is plenty of peace and quiet. The grounds are beautiful with enough outdoor activities to enjoy until you are ready to retreat to the sanctuary of your room. The innkeeper is friendly and welcoming. To enjoy your retreat more, book for more than one night- one night goes too fast! We will definitely return!

What a beautiful, relaxing to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. The Garden room was a perfect place for us to spend time away from everyday life and rejuvenate ourselves. We spend an entire afternoon down by the pool reading and cooling off. We will definitely be returning some day and will tell all of our friends that they should visit the Inn too. My hubby and I stayed in the Crescent Suite for two nights to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and we LOVED it. The king-sized bed, jacuzzi tub, and fireplace were fantastic. All the little touches at the inn and in our room like the music and overall atmosphere made the Inn on Crescent Lake perfect for our romantic getaway. We also enjoyed a fabulous couples massage and lounging in the pool. Plus, Beverly's suggestions for dining and wine tasting were a nice touch. Their attention to detail is very impressive.

This is our second time to stay at Inn at Crescent Lake. First time we stayed in The Paris Room, this time we were in the Stripe Room. It is a beautiful place and very restful and relaxing. The staff are superb and make you feel so at home. We enjoy walking around, and also the swimming pool was wonderful, even though it was about 100 degrees out when we were there! We will definitely go back again and try out a different room.

Celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Inn and would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone. Great service, friendly but respected our privacy. Beautiful grounds and loved the themed rooms and decor.

Two day stay on the way home after a visit with my aunt in Winfield, KS

My husband and I needed a break from the grind of the city and found the perfect retreat at the Inn on Crescent Lake, just one hour's drive from Leawood. Each of the guest suites is uniquely different but all of them are very elegant and impeccably appointed. We enjoyed sitting in the solarium playing UNO for hours, exploring the trails and paddling on the peaceful lake surrounding the property. The bed was very comfortable, and the complimentary gourmet breakfasts were amazing. We stayed two nights but wished we could've stayed much longer. We hope to be able to return every couple of months - it'll be interesting to see how the property looks with every changing season. Beverly, her daughter Leah, and the rest of the staff made us feel completely welcome and at home. Of all the roadtrips we've taken in the area since we moved to KC six years ago (Hermann, Lexington, Weston, St. Louis and others), this was by far the best. The Inn also boasts a fabulous wine cellar with wines from the family vineyard in France. We can't wait to return to our new home away from home.

This was our fourth visit in as many years. We love it and have booked a second trip this summer. The owner and her daughter make you feel like family. The elegant rooms are spotless and breakfast was delicious. So relaxing. We live within two hours of the Inn on Crescent Lake and a weekend here feels like a vacation and a respite. The pool is the icing on the cake in the heat of Midwestern summers.

This was our first B&B stay. My husband was very reluctant to go to any B&B because he had spent one third our married life on the road in motels as a salesman. However, our daughter and her husband recommended we go the Inn on Crescent Lake for our 39th wedding anniversary. We did and it was better than we could have ever expected. Beverly is energetic, out-going and so enthusiastic that she was a joy to be around. The pool was wonderful, the room, Casbah, was beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious. Breakfast was delicous & service was excellent. Leah was attentive to our needs. The pool was clean and well kept. We spent our afternoons relaxing in the sun next to the pool. My wife and I were looking for the perfect Kansas City B&B to spend our anniversary at and we found it. The Inn on Crescent Lake is accommodating and has all the amenities of any hotel. The travel to the Inn provided a good time for communication and we found the accommodations to be first class. Our room decor and scent (maple odor overkill) left a little to be desired but overall had a top-notch experience. Breakfast was great and we're going to recommend it everyone in Kansas City!

My husband and I have stayed here for both second and first wedding anniversaries. We stayed in the cottage both times, which is separate from the main house, so don't have any info on the rooms in the main house. The cottage is amazing! Very private, beautiful room. The grounds are great and very well kept. The pool and spa are very nice and also very well kept. We have been to many bed and breakfasts and this is our favorite, easily.

The Inn on Crescent Lake is a great historic property. My husband & I both enjoyed our weekend & will definitely return. Oh, and the breakfasts are DELICIOUS!!! Don't go to a B&B with nothing to do but sit in the room--go to the Inn, where you can walk around, enjoy the ponds & swim in the pool. Great place!

This was the first bed and breakfast my husband and I have stayed at, it was fabulous! If offers so many things to do, we enjoyed the fishing, swimming, paddle boats, trails, and hot tub. The hospitality was great and the old fashioned decor of the home was beautiful. I highly recommend this Inn.

My husband and I made an effort this year to actually do something for our wedding anniversary so after much browsing, we chose the Inn on Crescent Lake due to the great reviews and being so close from home (only 1 hour from Olathe, KS where we live). We had one of the most relaxing weekends - filled with the simple pleasures such as walking and talking surrounded by nature, paddle boating in the crescent lake around the B&B, relaxing in the jacuzzi and the pool, and enjoying a bottle of wine together every night. We had deep and hilarious conversations together and we left closer as a couple than when we checked in. Another point that is a must to mention is the Innkeeper's immaculate attention to detail to ensure guests have a great time. 1) There are always complimentary fresh cookies and sodas available; 2) the sunroom is even more relaxing as there is a water fountain in it giving that relaxing sound of water as you sit in comfortable chairs while surrounded by dozens of choices of magazines and books to read; 3)the pool has complimentary floats; 4) the rooms come with a CD stereo and romantic and relaxing CDs (think Diana Krall); 5) there is a DVD complimentary library if you want to stay in and enjoy a movie; 6) the bathroom even comes with complimentary q-tips and cotton balls (which I always forget to pack on vacation); 7) there are always chilled and handpicked wines and beers in their honor bar - you pay when you check out. If you want to have a weekend getaway close to home, this is a splendid choice. We plan on going back many more times!

The Inn and its surrounding 22acres were beautiful! Very relaxing, and peaceful for a much needed get away! The staff was great. Expected a bit different breakfast than what was served, but absolutely loved it here and hope to come again when warmer and enjoy the pool! The "Cottage" was great and a would like to stay in it again too!

The staff was very friendly, but not invasive, and were available 24/7. The house is on beautiful property, surrounded by a lake! The lake was a perfect place for my husband to go fishing, while the hot tub was just as relaxing for me! I would definitely recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast.

This was our first stay at a B&B, and I must say that overall, we were thrilled with the stay! The a/c did break down in our room, and management quickly offered to remedy the situation by moving us to another room. We opted to remain in the room because it was supposed to be cool that evening, but were a little disappointed to find that none of the windows would open, so we could not get fresh air in the room, and it did get quite stuffy by morning. But other than that, the stay was awesome and the establishment was phenomenal. We definitely recommend this B&B, and we will certainly be back for a future visit!

Stayed here for our 20th anniversary. Greeted first night by Leah, she showed us around and gave us suggestions for dinner. Both mornings began with an amazing breakfast. Loved the peacefulness of the grounds and the cottage. Really felt pampered and relaxed. Grounds beautiful, everything clean, loved the paddle boats. A much needed ahhhh moment. My husband and I are very busy with 4 kids, I work 2 jobs-one in which is a licensed childcare, and of course we are busy with many extracurricular activities. For our anniversary we wanted to stay someplace quiet, romantic, and different. We had never stayed at a B&B, we had preconceived notions that they were all very "Granny-ish" and "Quilty". But, I kept looking and found the Inn. I will admit I was worried when we drove into the town that the Inn was located, it seemed a bit dim but after calling for further directions and driving up to it all my worries sunk and our first thoughts were "Thank GOD!" It was beautiful, gated and away from the "town". Beverly greeted us warmly and gave us a tour and checked us into our room. We stayed in the Tuscany Room. We loved it! Beautiful, tasteful, quiet. Exactly what we wanted. Beverly had to go out of town the next day, but her daughter took great care of us. Both very sweet! The breakfast was awesome as well. We didn't get a chance to fish or use the boats, but we plan on doing that the next time! We also visited a few of the wineries, and we were first timers at this also. We discovered that we enjoyed learning about the wines and have something new to do together. We didn't want to leave, and can't wait to go back. My husband said that out of all the hotels and vacations we have taken, that this was by far the most relaxing, and romantic getaway. We are hoping to make another visit soon. I had an excellent time at the Inn. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. The food was excellent and the staff was extraordinary. I will most certainly spend more time there in the future.

Christina greeted us with a tour of the estate including the DVD and game collection available to all guests, the complementary drinks and snacks and the pond with rowboats (how romantic is that!?) the walking paths and the rest of the 22+ acre estate. We stayed in the Garden Room which I would highly recommend because the room has a private deck complete with private hot tub. My husband and I went into town to Ventana for dinner which was amazing in itself. Upon returning to the estate we relaxed in our hot tub, stayed up for hours and rediscovered what we needed to make our marriage that much stronger. Breakfast the next morning was amazing. Not only that, we were greeted at the front door by owner, Beverly, who took the time to chat with us for awhile as well. After breakfast we took a tour of the rest of the house (our room had a private entrance so we had yet to really see the 8 room mansion) and I found so many other rooms I want to stay in! We will definitely return within the next couple months, as it was one of the best experiences for us. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn on Crescent Lake to anybody!!

Wonderful, beautiful ... the perfect get away. Highly recommended!

This is a great place to get away for a couple of nights to just relax. Online reservations were easy, the welcome was warm and friendly, breakfast was excellent and the honor bar was outstanding. Definitely worth spending the little bit extra for the larger suites.

While looking at a site for another place to celebrate, I found alot of "bad" reviews for that particular place to stay. I then proceeded to check out the bed and breakfast in the area and ran across the Inn on Crescent Lake. While the website was informative it did not allow me to check availability for the same night. I then called the Inn and spoke with Leah. What a delightful person. So personable and friendly. We booked the Paris room over the phone. She said I could call if we were going to be later than 7 to check in. We actually stopped there on our way to a celebration dinner and since we were the first ones to arrive we got a tour of the other rooms. The website just does not do the Inn justice. We upgraded our reservation to the ballroom. Wow! What a nice place...so easy to upgrade with no hassles. We booked the original room (Paris) for the next night because our room was already reserved for someone else. When we were ready to check in to that room (after an amazing breakfast of banana split french toast) we were again offered a tour of the grounds and the pool room which the couple had just cancelled.... we snapped it right up. Their loss was our gain! Wow....Leah gave us some information about a little place called Willow Mercantile on Broadway... the wine dinner was just what we needed to top off our celebration. They were very knowledgable about the wine and the food was wonderful... Needless to say, I believe that the Inn on Crescent Lake will be a top memory for us, and I would love to stay there again. I have already recommended it to several of my co-workers. Thank you Leah and staff for making this a truely memorable weekend for us.

If you want to get away from the everyday stress of life you have to come here!! It is so relaxing and beautiful. Im staying the The Tuscany suite and it is great. The service it amazing as well and breakfast is delicious. Great place to come and get away!!!

The room we stayed in was very clean and we had the property to ourselves for 1 night. It was an enchanting stay and we would return again! If you are in the Kansas City area this is a great place to stay. A little secleded and a wonderful value. I think this would be charming in the spring and summer when you can use the paddle boats or walk the property.

My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary, our 10 year anniversary, and her turning the big "four Oh" here. We feel it is the best Bed and Breakfast in Kansas City. Beverly and her daughter are amazing people who make you feel welcome and have a servant attitude. The property is outstanding on the outside, the grounds, and the inside and the overall setting is unique to K.C. You will love this place!

We have been to the inn several times and love it. This time most of the rooms we really like were full, but we found one that looked ok. It was a little smaller than we anticipated, and not quite as comfortable as some of the others we have been in. There was also some food left in a top drawer. We will go back as this is the best B&B in the Kansas City area that we have found. We truly love going there.

My husband and just recently stayed at the Inn on Crescent Lake on 3/10/11 which exceeded our expectations...It was amazing, beautiful, and peaceful! The owner has the kindest heart upgrading our room to the Ballroom since we were the only ones staying at the Inn. Originally we were going to stay in the Garden room, but decided to stay in the biggest room since we could :) All rooms were beautiful, clean, and very peaceful! Definitely would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone and will be planning to come back soon :) Oh, and the breakfast was amazing! We feel like we could not have picked a better place to stay!

My wife and I, after the stressful process that is a wedding, decided that we needed to get away to some peace and quiet. I don't think that we could have found a better place!. We stayed in the Cabana suite, which is just immaculate. The pro's: The innkeeper Beverly is a friendly, wonderful host. The wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. The Massage was a bit pricey, but was definitely worth the money. The hot tub heat was adjustable and was positioned in a beautiful spot. Very secluded and peaceful. You are allowed to tour all of the open rooms (and I suggest you do!). They are all very quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, although some of the items were a little exotic for my taste. The bed was on the firm side, but I enjoy a more firm bed so it was perfect for me. Cons: The maid left a bar of used soap from the previous guests that stayed in our suite. I'm also a poor college student, so the rates were a bit high for me. But I guess you'll get that with any high quality establishment. In all, this was an absolutely remarkable bed and breakfast. My wife and I plan on coming back as often as our budget allows!

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and we could not have been happier. We stayed in the Garden Room, which has it's own private hot tub. Beverly and her staff make every accomodation to make you feel right at home. We will definitely return again and again!

My husband and I returned to KC to visit family and stow the kids while we celebrated our anniversary. The mansion is gorgeous! We enjoyed picking a movie or two, looking and planning on buying a print from France to take as a memento of our time there. We were staying in the Cabana Suite which was fabulous! I loved both rooms and it made getting ready for our evening out simply delightful. We used the jacuzzi tub a few times. I would recommend bringing cds with you as there is a cd player in the room. All in all we had a fabulous stay! The breakfast was great. Definitely a gorgeous place to go. We went in late October, so we didn't use anything outdoors other than taking a little ride out on the boat. The hostess working there for the night was more than helpful and courteous. We stayed at the Inn for two days for a relazing get away from our busy schedules and stayed in the garden room. This room is wonderful and with the private hot tub we just didnt want to leave our room. We did however enjoy looking at all the wondrful things in the mansion and enjoyed our stay so much we have mad plans to stay in as many of the rooms as possible. Beverly and her staff make you feel so welcome. You can not go wrong with this bed and breakfast. Travis and Sandra.

We chose the Inn on Crescent Lake for our honeymoon after hours of searcing online. It was wonderful. Beverly and Patrick were fantastic. They were friendly and welcoming, willing to offer suggestions for dinner, wineries, downtown attractions, etc. They were helpful and available when we needed them, but we had plenty of privacy. Breakfast was always beautifully made and delicious, served in the sunroom which is perfect. Chocolate chip cookies were always available and they had a selection of snacks and even wine if you didn't want to get out to buy something. They have a nice pool, ping pong, hiking, paddle boat, and peace and quite. We are hoping to return for our anniversary. We would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a wonderful weekend. It was very relaxing and romantic for my husband and I. I got an amazing massage and they even made my husband biscuits and gravy per request. We will definately go back, it was great!

We have been coming back here many times over the years. Things change only for the better, and we are always extremely pleased when we leave.

Excellent stay for our honeymoon! Very romantic and beautiful... even in February! Stayed in the cottage house... Highly recommended! Loved the view, the walking trail, the grounds and the lakes. Can't wait to visit during the spring/summer when we can paddle-boat! Everything was perfect! Will be coming back every year... but 1 night isn't enough! Next time we will stay at least 2 nights. This was our 4th trip to the Inn. Each time has been more relaxing and enjoyable than ever allowing us to return to our busy schedules renewed (and looking forward to our next trip back!). No matter what season of the year, the Inn has it's own special charm and comfort.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate three years of being together :) This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and we had a wonderful time! Even though the weather was chilly, we enjoyed walking on the trail behind the inn along the lake. It was very beautiful scenery and we plan on returning in the summer so we can fish, paddleboat, and swim in the pool! Our room was very clean and accomodating. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was also very good. This was just the peaceful and relaxing getaway that we had been looking for and we can't wait to return! Thank you Beverly and staff for being so welcoming!

Not only is this place breathtakingly gorgeous, but the food service was gourmet-quality. We attended a monthly wine-tasting/four-course dinner and it was exquisite.

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's Day we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. We absolutely loved it. We will be going back in the summer so that my husband can fish. The service was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. They made us feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place.

What a treat! Not just two or three, but four courses of food paired with three wines, Wow! Well worth the experience and price! The food pairing with the wine was very nice. My favorite was the Les Terres Chaudes red wine. Patrick Delugeau you would be proud!

We recently attended a French wine tasting and dinner at the Inn. We were given a comprehensive tour which culminated in an informative wine tasting and wonderful French dinner paired with the various wines. Our hostesses went above and beyond to provide us with an enjoyable experience on a cold February evening. They are promising more such special events. We will return and recommend that others attend these special events as well.

Inn on Crescent Lake is a beautiful Bed in Breakfast! This was our first stay at a Bed in Breakfast and we loved it! We stayed in the Cabana Suite. It has a jacuzzi in the room along with a walk in shower, mini fridge, and king size bed. Right outside the rooms was the pool and to the right of the house was the hot tub and spa. We were here during the winter so were not bothered by people swimming in the pool or other people joining us in the hot tub! The Inn was quite and very elegant and romantic. It was the perfect getaway for us to relax and spend time with each other. Beverly checked us in and showed us around. She was very nice and welcoming. Christine made breakfast for us which was Carmel Apple Pancakes and Bacon which was outstanding and very delicious. This Inn is going to be a place my husband and I will definitely return to again!

My husband and I visited the Inn on Crescent Lake to celebrate our anniversary. We chose to stay in The Cottage located in the old carriage house on the property. Our rooms were charming, clean, and very comfortable. We were quite happy with the ammenities offered by the Inn including videos, games, and free snacks and sodas. We also ordered the Anniversary Package as part of our stay and were impressed with the quality of the flowers, champagne, etc. included in the package. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful but did not intrude on our privacy in any way. As part of our package we had the option of eating breakfast in The Cottage which we chose to do. A delicious breakfast of French toast, bacon, spiced apples, juice and coffee was delivered to our room promptly at the chosen time. The night we visited the Inn the area received 3-4 inches of snow, and we were very impressed with how quickly and efficiently the staff handled snow removal from their driveway and major walkways. We would highly recommend the Inn on Crescent Lake for a relaxing, romantic get-away.

This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. We had the Crescent room which was a cozy room, but the ceilings were really low for us tall people. The bed was really hard, and not much room in the bathroom (no place to put our things--a little inconvenient. The food was really good and people very friendly and helpful. Our children got this for us for our 40th Anniversary, so they didn't know what the rooms were like for us. We did enjoy it and would certainly go back.

The Inn on Crescent Lake is a lovely bed and breakfast. The rooms were quiet, cozy and clean. We stayed in the Striped Room, and we were very pleased. Breakfast was delicious, and we were sad to leave. I would highly recommend this for a quiet relaxing get-a-way.

Arriving at this Inn is like entering another world - one with old-world charm, peaceful settings, and stress-free relaxation! The innkeepers are so friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable and satisfying. We recommend it to anyone looking for a special evening or weekly vacation away from the hectic world of reality. It's a hard place to leave!

My wife and I recently stayed here on our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The Cabana Suite was wonderful, even in January, and the breakfast was amazing each day. The property was very nice and accomodations were wonderful. We would consider going back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake, pool, fishing, etc...

The Inn at Crescent Lake by far exceeded all of my expectations. I spent my honeymoon in the Cabana Room and I can say the memory will stay with my wife and I for years to come. In fact, we plan on returning for our anniversaries. Beverly, our host, was extremely accommodating and made sure that all of our requests were met. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and of course, the jacuzzi bath, made this something I highly recommend to others.

We stayed around Christmas and the place was nearly empty. But we enjoyed the solitude and the service was top notch. The staff was extremely friendly too! The room looked just like the pictures and was very nice. Our only complaint was the bed was a little firm. We would definitely go there again...maybe in the summer when we can enjoy being outdoors at the Inn.

The land and the mansion was absolutely beautiful! Want to go back and would reccomend it to anyone that wants a romantic and quality experience!

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage for 2 nights! Its great that they will bring your breakfast out to you if you desire. The owner and all of the staff were so kind! The grounds were beautiful, and the room was so comfortable! I only wish I would have known sooner that you did not have to drive all the way to Herman for a wonderful bed and breakfast experience! We will definitly return!

We stayed at the Inn for our 35th anniversary and had a very wonderful experience. The Inn and our room was beautiful, clean and very cozy. It sits on a partial island with crescent shaped ponds almost completely around it. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast the next morning was excellent. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and hope to return soon.
