What a lovely stay in a lovely property! My husband and I stayed at the Bellevue for our first year anniversary weekend. Linda and Brian were fantastic hosts. The house is immaculate. And if you love historic homes, you will truly enjoy this one! Brian and Linda have put a lot of time and effort into the restoration of this beautiful Victorian home. Linda's decorating skills and small nuances, truly make you feel as if you've stepped back in time, but with a modern flair. And the food! By far, this was the best three-course breakfast I have had in any B&B I have stayed in. You will definitely enjoy your stay. As far as the privacy is concerned, you will have plenty of it. Brian and Linda, although great host, do not smother you. They are around in the morning to serve you breakfast, and available to you by phone if you should need them. But leave you to your privacy to enjoy your getaway. What a great time!

A repeat plan on our list of great rest and relaxation destinations. The breakfast experience alone is worth return trips.

The Bellevue B&B is a real gem. It's a beautifully restored house that was built in the 1890s. It's a block away from the Cape Girardeau historic district which offers a lot of nice restaurants and access to the Mississippi Riverfront Park. Also very close to the main campus and river campus of SE Missouri State U. Very clean, very quiet. The breakfast was a little rich for our tastes, but expertly prepared and beautifully served. Brian and LInda are gracious and informative hosts. Only wish the mattress on the bed was firmer, but again, that's a personal preference. Would definitely stay again.

Reminded me of finding a hide-a-way in England. Glad my child goes to SEMO, this will be my home away from home.

This was our second one night stay at the Bellevue Bed and Breakfast. This is a tastefully decorated, immaculate, historical home, in peaceful surroundings, with a wonderful quiet patio to sit and enjoy the outdoor garden, trees and flowers, front porch is great too! Breakfast was wonderful and kept us going until dinner! Hospitable, friendly, but unobtrusive owners/hosts! Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

Cape Girardeau is a lovely little college town on the Mississippi River. The Bellevue Bed and Breakfast is a well-maintained home with lovely decor and landscaping. The breakfast was delicious and graciously presented on fine china. The owners are very hospitable, attentive to every detail. I highly recommend a stay at the Bellevue in Cape Girardeau!

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the gardens lush, and the food outstanding. I really enjoyed the breakfasts, both the food and conversation. I would definitely recommend Bellevue B&B and would stay there again next time I am in town.
