Rachel's welcomes you to a unique setting in the hills of Missouri. The Inn is surrounded by rivers, lakes, waterfalls, state parks, history, and antiquing. The gardens will invite you to stroll, smell, touch, relax and enjoy. Rachel's B&B is one of a kind.
The Parlor at Rachel's has hosted many weddings and special events. It is amazing by candle light and a great place for guest to gather and get to know one another.
The Dining Room at Rachel's is large enough to accommodate groups and yet provide privacy for intimate quiet time alone for each couple. Each meal is accompanied with soft romantic music. The marble pillars and fireplace (not shown) just add to the ambiance. You won't find a more romantic, pampered experience than a candle light dinner at Rachel's.
The most enduring feature of The Suite Mathima is the private entrance to the Verandah over looking the gardens and pond. It makes this Suite seem much larger than it is, with the openess to the outside. Equipped with satellite TV,DVD, fireplace, jetted tub, refrigerator and private bath.
The French doors on the Verandah provide a private entrance for The Suite Mathima. Over looking one of the many garden ponds, the Verandah often provides privacy outdoors, a relaxing reading area or just great fresh air and a lovely view of the gardens.

The Promise suite is where we hope Promises are made and kept. To set the Romantic Atmosphere, The Promise Suite has a fire place, huge jetted tub and plush white carpet. For great views of the gardens from your suite, there are lots of windows. Conveniently this suite is equipped with refrigerator, private bath with shower, coffee pot, DVD player and satellite TV. The King size mattress is made to order and provides for great snuggling and restful nights. $145.00 per night
The Promise Suite with it's oversized whirlpool tub for two and the near by fire place provides a perfect setting for making romantic memories together. This suite is equipped with shower, stocked frig, coffee maker, satellite TV,& DVD $145.00 per night.
Waterfall Suite As you enter the Waterfall Suite, you will encounter an aura of peace and tranquility. The Waterfall Suite is our largest suite on the first level. It is equipped with remote control fire place, two person Jacuzzi, satellite TV, large bathroom with tub, shower, and refrigerator & coffee pot. $145.00 per night

Rachel's is amazingly affordable Romance and ambiance. The gardens will greet you with rows of roses, water features, ponds and private sitting areas through out. Once inside this Arts and Craft style home you will find welcoming innkeepers, beautiful architectural features and Romantic suites, with private entrances and decks. Each Suite is furnished with a two person jetted tub, fireplace, refrigerator, coffee pot, TV, DVD player,WIFI and a beautifully adorn canopy queen or king size bed, with made to order mattress. Unique to Rachel's are the Candle Light dinners offered in our private dining room. The food is amazing and the setting perfect for that special night to remember.

joe and sharon couldn't have been more friendly and accomodating. the place was really beautiful and quiet, and there were lots of scenic places all around the area. it was our first trip to missouri and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. i highly recommend it.

My husband and I have stayed here many times. Because of this B & B we have stayed at many others when we travel; however, Rachel's has almost been far better, in every aspect, than the others. The other inns were not bad, it's just that after staying here, we expected so much more for our $ at the other inns. Thank you for being available and the great job you do to make us feel so special.

We love Rachel's B&B. We go everytime we get a chance. We love the romantic and relaxing atmosphere at this lovely Inn. The hosts, Joe and Sharon are like family. They focus completely making your stay truely lovely.

Besides our love of vintage MOPAR vehicles, Bill and I spend a great deal of time entertaining our guest with outdoor adventures. We can often be found hosting a float down Black River, a bon-fire, hiking, fishing trip, or even a Pontoon trip on Clearwater Lake. We enjoy the company of our guest, and we get a kick out of finding ways to make each trip special.

The Suite Mathima
This room is named after the original Lady of the House, Mathima Bolch. The Queen size bed is adorned with one of Sharon's hand stiched quilts and draped with a canopy of lace. It is equipped with private bath, two person jacuzzi, fireplace, private entrance onto the verandah overlooking the garden pond, refrigerator, 50" Flat Screen, satellite TV, and VCR.

When you enter the Waterfall suite you experience a sence of peace. Our largest room on the first floor, the walls are a pale blue, resembling the appearance of falling rain. The outside garden waterfall is just outside the bedroom window. This room is equipped with canopy bed, remote control fire place, two person Jacuzzi, satellite TV, VCR, large bathroom with shower and soaking tub, and refrigerator, WIFI.

This is an extremely comfortable room with its lounging area that makes you want to just kick back and watch a movie. It has a private entrance with deck, TV,VCR, single person Jacuzzi tub, and refrigerator. It boast of original tounge in groove ceiing and walls and is located on the second floor away for other rooms but is not above any other bedroom. It is great for families and couples alike. A fireplace has been added recently.

The Cottage is great for families and groups. It has three separate bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of eight persons. It is fully equipped with cooking and laundry facilities, as well as two TVS, VCRs, DVD and movies. The large living room provides a lovely place for groups or families to gather. The cottage also has an outside patio and Bar B Que grill.

This is a wonderful escape for a couple or a group. The Kottage sleeps 6 people comfortably. It has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need to whip up a fantastic meal. The Kottage is two stories, with a fold out sofa in the main living quarters and two queen beds in the loft. The unit has a flat screen TV with satellite, a covered porch, fire pit, picnic table, horse-shoe pit, & tubes for floating the river.

This Cottage is one of our biggest and best. There are two separate sleeping quarters each with a queen sized bed. A day-bed and trundle in the main living quarters. A fully stocked kitchen with stove and oven and all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils one could need for making magic meals. It is charmingly decorated and includes a fire-pit, outdoor grill, picnic table, horse-shoe pit and large yard.

From St. Louis, take Highway 55 south to 67 south. Take 67 to the 3rd. Farmington exit. Turn right at the McDonalds on to 221. Follow it to Arcadia. Turn left onto 21 south. It will become 49S. Follow 49 south into Annapolis. Turn right at the stop sign and go one block to Rachel's B&B. Off street parking in rear. Guest entrance on the west end of the building.

You will see the Rachel's Bill Board at the 21/49 Junction. Follow the arrow to Annapolis. Turn right at the stop sign and go one block. Rachel's B&B is on the right. Off street parking is in the rear.
