We called and arranged when Tom would be there to show us the cottage. AFter that first meeting, we didn't see our host, until we left. The cottage itself was perfect. I felt like I was staying at a photo shoot for Better Homes and Garden. The views of the river were awesome. It was really is a neat and magical place to stay

Tom made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage was very inviting and homey! Wonderful place to stay for relaxation while enjoying the rich history of Natchez. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed with my partner in December. The cottage was spacious, spotless and oh so comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I missed most sunrises but never missed a sunset! We enjoyed the fabulous views from the very edge of the bluff overlooking the Mississippi and the cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and a joyous place to just go walking about. The cottage had every amenitie and I especially enjoyed the fireplace at night and all of the local history books. Tom, our host, was an excellent resource available to answer questions about the area, recommend dining and museums. We explored back roads and "under the hill". My favorite memories are the views from the bluff. River boats and barges steaming up and down the "muddy Missippippi" were mesmerising in their own way as was Mother Nature's lighting up the horizon with reds, golds and purples. I'll be back; much more to see than in the few days I was there. I also enjoyed the bookstore and local java shop in downtown Natchez!

Great location with amazing river views. Cottage is private, comfortable, elegant, clean and uncluttered. After spending our days immersed in the antebellum South, loved the contemporary atmosphere of having own own little Natchez getaway. Tom is a great host, too.

My husband and I stayed at Sunset View last month, and we could not have been more pleased with the accomodations or the service. Our host, Tom Scarborough was extremely helpful and informative without being obtrusive. We found the cottage roomy, bright, and VERY clean, with THE most wonderful mattress -- a whirlpool tub and screened in porch round out this perfect place. Watching the river go by both night and day was worth the price. Photos of the view do not do it justice. We will most certainly make this a regular getaway for the two of us.
