Beutiful antibellum home with exquisite antiques and flower arrangements in a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was served on antique china with sterling silverware and linens. Very tasty as well!

I hosted a Bridesmaid Luncheon at Shadowlawn recently for my niece and was very impressed and extremely satisfied with everything. The food was great! I would highly recommend it for any small event involving a meal.

Grand Master SuiteThe Victorian King Suite is a spacious 19 x 20 foot room with 14 foot ceilings. It is decorated in greens and burgundies and includes a King-Sized Bed with Victorian Headboard, Private Bath with a Whirlpool Tub and a Walk-in Shower with double shower heads. It has a Full-sized Desk with Wi-Fi Internet Access, 23” Television with Cable housed in an 1860s English Victorian Linen Press, Victorian Sofa and Dresser, Apartment-Sized Refrigerator with a selection of water, sodas and juices, Large Antique Over-the-Mantle Mirror, 3-speed Ceiling Fan, and a full sized closet and bedside alarm clock. Overlooking the beautiful Victorian Puckett House on the MUW Campus, the Upstairs Master Suite of Shadowlawn is a spacious room furnished with Victorian Antiques and has all the modern conveniences today's traveler needs. The "Fleur-De-Lis" Suite is a 14 x 20 room with 14 foot ceilings and is decorated in navy, beige and gold and includes a King sized bed, an Over-stuffed Love Seat, a Desk with Wi-Fi Internet Access, and an English Gents Wardrobe which houses the 19 inch color television with cable. There is a Large Vintage Mirror, 3-speed Ceiling Fan, and a bedside alarm clock. This room has a Private Bath, but one that can be shared with another room. It includes a Double Bed with a single mirrored door Armoire. This upstairs bedroom has a Full-sized Desk with Wi-Fi Internet Access, 23” Television with cable, 3-speed Ceiling Fan, and bedside alarm clock. This room has its own Private Bath. The Guest Cottage is a self-contained apartment which is ideal for extended stays when privacy is desired. The Cottage is off the main house, behind the garage in the Southwest corner of the grounds, but just a few steps from the main house. It is a newer structure, which was built on the area where we think may have sat the old carriage house. The cozy cottage is 17 x 19 feet and it has a Full Kitchen, Stove/Oven, Microwave Oven, Refrigerator, sink and full bath with a walk-in shower (no tub). It has a King Sized bed, 3-speed ceiling fan, and 8 foot ceilings. It shares the same amenities as all the rooms at Shadowlawn. Extended stay rates are available.The Double English Suite is a 19 x 20 room with 14 foot ceilings, decorated in Gold, Burgundy and Beige and is to be rented “piggy-back” in combination with either of the king suites. It includes a Double Bed, an Over-Stuffed Sofa, Wi-Fi Internet Access, and an English Gents Wardrobe which houses an 18 inch color television with cable. There is a large Antique Over-the-Mantle Mirror which matches the one in the Master King Suite, a 3-speed Ceiling Fan, and a bedside alarm clock. This Upstairs Parlor Suite is a separate room that can adjoin the Victorian King Suite and share the Victorian King Suite Bathroom or it would share the "Fleur-De-Lis" King Suite Bath across the hall.
