The best B & B thus far!!!! Exceptional Hospitality... made us feel like we were at home. The breakfasts were outstanding!!!! We stayed in the Hummingbird Hideaway~ beautiful room! Sitting on the deck looking out on the water- good conversation- bird watching- pine trees surrounding us, but with enough space to take in the gorgeous view. We WILL be back! Dennis & Charlyne... so glad we met you and some of your family!!!!

We have stayed in Embracing Pines B&B back in Summer 2012. The B&B is in a great location and Dennis and Charlyne are great people. Next time I'm visiting MN, I'm planning to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality and the great breakfast!

I enjoyed my 3 night stay with Dennis and Charlyne as they welcomed me to their home. I had a pleasant, quiet room, and the views of the hummingbirds and other birds, as well as the dock access and trail access couldn't be beat. I hope to be back to hit the missing miles of Paul Bunyan and Heartland Trails.

Dennis and Charlene are very knowledgeable about the trail system. And when he tells you about the burgers at the Laport grocery, believe it! We will use Embracing Pines again It is perfectly located, the breakfast is gourmet, and Dennis has a really nice van to move you around.

We had a wonderful time at Embracing Pines. Charlyne and Dennis were gracious and welcoming, the room and inn were charming, and the breakfasts just fantastic. We did some hiking, enjoyed a paddelboat ride, and also spent a day at Itasca which is just a short trip away. Would also recommend dinner at the Boulders where the food is excellent.

Booked the room at midnight the night before in an emergency. These lovely people went above and beyond. The rooms and scenery are breath taking! Can't wait to back for r&r. Don't miss this one!-Laurie L. Owen

Our expectations were greatly surpassed by this charming establishment. Dennis and Charlyne were gracious and freindly hosts from the moment I made our reservations by phone. Charlyne's breakfast of fresh Fritatas, fruit salad and homemade popovers was fit for royalty. We enjoyed the sauna, a paddleboat ride, "Tut" the hummingbird and his glistening harem who flittered about the river-view outdoor dinning deck where we enjoyed breakfast, as well as the beautifully appointed and luxuriously comfortable room. My wife and I were celebrating our 29th anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. We will definitely be back next year. Lovely! Don & Semerit from Minneapolis

Dennis and Charlyne are exceptional hosts! Their home is beautiful and they obviously enjoy extending hospitality to others. The rooms were very clean and breakfasts very eye-pleasing and delicious. The back-yard dock to the canoes, and the hop-and-skip to the bike trails makes this a perfect location for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities and a quiet evening on the lake.

Charleen and Dennis made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Food was amazing and the conversation and company were enjoyable as well. Beautiful lazy river behind the property is great for canoes and paddle boats (both free to borrow at the B&b. Only criticism is that our bed was much more firm than we're used to so we were a little achy after 2 nights. Would love to return and try out the plentiful bike trails next time. Thanks for a great weekend!
