Great weekend get away! Mary Jo made custom meals for our special diet. She was very kind and friendly and has taken good care of the place while maintaining the charm. Looking forward to staying again!

One of my key suppliers is in Litchfileld, and before my first visit to the supplier they recommended that I stay at the Marshall Estate, and wow was that a great recommendation! Mary Jo is great, and she takes genuine interest in my care and comfort. I just ended my second stay, and wish I had a couple of extra days to just relax and enjoy Marshall Estates. I highly recommend this B&B! Thank you - Brian

The home is lovely. Mary Jo had lots of ideas and suggestions on places of interest. Very helpful. The breakfast proportions were perfect for me but if you have a big appetite they maybe on the light side. The food was outstanding!

A perfect place for a time out for one's busy schedule. The Marshal Estate and B and B welcomes you from the moment you see it until you depart. Mary Jo, the innkeeper, is the one who creates that atmosphere and maintains the attitude of helpfulness and genuine willingness to assure that you will have a most delightful stay. Thank you so much, Mary Jo, for a stay that will forever be etched in my mind as a wonderful week in the life of a fellow bed and breakfast owner/operator. Kudos to you!

I just had my son's graduation party a few weeks ago at The Marshall Estate and was very pleased with the outcome. Mary Jo is a very gracious and accommodating hostess. She shares her wonderful story about how the Marshall Estate came to be. It was the perfect setting for my son's party as the guests could mingle freely throughout the house as well as outside on her beautiful grounds. There were many compliments throughout the day. I have already booked my next son's party for 2015! Come enjoy this beautiful home in our town on a beautiful lake. You won't be disappointed and I can guarantee a few laughs from Mary Jo too!

We stayed here this last weekend and Mary Jo was the best hostess you could ask for. No corner was cut for service and the food was delicious! Everything was clean when we arrived and cleaned throughout the stay as well so it was relaxing and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

Sept 28-29, 2012 Enjoyed a beautiful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Mary Jo couldn't have been more gracious and fun to talk with. She is a very ambitious lady. You could not go wrong in choosing this delightful, cozy get-away.

I am a traveling Physical Therapist and was recently assigned to Litchfield on a 2 week contract. Instead of staying in an impersonal and cramped motel room, I chose The Marshall Estate and B&B. I could not have been more pleased. My bedroom and bathroom were large, wonderfully appointed and immaculately clean. The town of Litchfield was fun for my girlfriend to visit, with it's antique shops and beautiful Lake Ripley. I highly recommend The Marshall Estate and B&B for the business traveler or as a weekend getaway.
