On the bank of the Root River, in one of Minnesota's most ancient and picturesque valleys. Restored to include modern conveniences, while keeping a comfortable and eclectic Victorian decor. In the yard between the inn and the twisting river, the conversations of birds, the sound of flowing water, and a lovely garden offer a peaceful place to relax. Looking from Mrs. B's windows outside, is a scene that could have been painted by Thomas Cole or Grandma Moses. Our decks await your enjoyment and a full creative country breakfast is served each morning. Mrs. B's Gift Certificates are always available.

    Signature Dish

    Savory Crustless Quiche
'Surimi' crab or honey roasted ham and some of the finest white cheddar cheese we have found, blended with eggs and light cream, (and a few 'secret' ingredients) to create this light and fluffy, melt in your mouth quiche. Served with a fresh tomato salsa (We use heirloom tomatoes when available), or tapenade of portabella mushrooms in sherry sauce, and/or fresh Spring asparagus.

Great location in the heart of Lanesboro right on the Root River Trail, and most attractions are within walking distance. We're not usually B&B fans but would definitely stay at Mrs. B's again.

The folks at Mrs. B's were very responsive leading up to our visit and very nice upon our arrival. For the price, the room was underwhelming.

Nice spot,Good location but...Breakfast is ONLY available from 8 to 8:45am! I would say the Innkeepers are missing the boat on why people might go to a B&B. You might try "accomodating" your guests not yourselves.

    Innkeeper Response
Dear Guest, We are very sorry that you were upset about our breakfast time. We never want to upset anyone, if it were not for you we wouldn't know that you were upset. Please know that we hear your upset and are always trying to make things better. Sincerely, Ginger & Terry
