The owner/host was exceptional. She made my wife and I feel welcome and at home. Super relaxing old style setting. Very different/homecooked/exceptional breakfast. Yes, I would go there again.

We had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing weekend at the Scanlan House. Our room was clean, and the whirlpool tub was very big and very nice. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and was served by a very friendly and attentive host. Thank you, Scanlan House!

We loved our stay at the Scanlan house! The breakfast was delicious (and accommodating to our dietary needs), the two-person whirlpool was so relaxing, and while in our room we couldn't even hear the other guests. Our room - Grandma Bells - was a bit smaller than we had been anticipating, but we will definitely be back. They had lots of recommendations of things to do in town/nearby (even in winter), a large DVD collection that you could borrow from, and our hosts were super friendly. Stay here if you can!

We had a wonderful time. Our hostess Kirsten was very friendly and helpful. We were in the Masquerade room and enjoyed the huge whirlpool and the nice balcony. The breakfast was amazing! Thank you for giving us such a nice stay!

We spent our 35th anniversary celebration at the Scanlon House in Lanesboro, MN. It was a beautiful B&B and we had the Sunrise Suite. The grounds were fantastic and we played cribbage outside on one of the patio tables. The flowers and foliage were unparalleled and well maintained. The room was fantastic with plenty of space, great furniture and classic decorations. The Sunday breakfast was very good and offered a variety of scrumptious selections. The only addition I would recommend would be to have the hostess go to the dining tables and give a short history of the house and its previous inhabitants. It would seem more life-like and give all the guests a reason to tell others about it.
