Relax and unwind in the casual elegance of Morning Glory B&B,close to downtown and Mesabi Bike Trail.
The Northwoods Suite is a wonderfully elegant slice of Northern Minnesota with it's warm red and green colors, king bed covered in a cozy old fashioned quilt and surrounded by cedar lined walls. The sitting room has a Jotul gas fireplace, tv/dvd and full size comfy futon. The 3/4 bath has a "wild" shower.
Our front walk garden is one of many beautiful places to sit, relax and enjoy the day!
Northwoods Suite includes a king bed, "wild" bath with large shower, comfortable sitting room with futon and gas fireplace. This room faces north and west with wonderful views of tree tops and the sunset. Guests have commented that when lying on the futon they feel like they are napping in a treehouse!
The Champagne & Roses Suite offers an antique queen size bed,2-person whirlpool in bath and a 2-sided fireplace between the sitting room and bedroom. Perfect for any romantic getaway! Add on the Romance Package that includes fresh flowers, a bottle of bubbly and breakfast "ensuite"!
Garden Room Suite-- This bright and very inviting 2-room suite faces east to catch the morning sun. Behind the garden gate style queen size bed is a romantically lit arbor and the large private bath will beckon you to soak in the extra deep tub. The sitting room features a day bed and armoire with a tv,vcr and dvd player.
Sitting room for the Champagne & Roses Suite. Features love seat, desk, table for two and a two-sided gas fireplace separates it from the bedroom. This room faces east,south and west for wonderful breezes and great views of the gardens (also air conditioned when needed).
Garden Room Suite, queen bed, full bath with a soaking tub,comfortable sitting room with a twin trundle bed, chair and tv/dvd. This is our largest suite with over 360 sq.ft to call your own!
The Captain's Quarters is our popular main floor suite, queen bed, bath w/shower, sitting room and an additional outside entrance. Perfect for the business traveler or anyone looking for a cozy, quiet and very comfortable night's sleep!
Common living room. Summer or winter this "casually elegant" room will beckon you to sit and read,put together a puzzle, visit with your fellow guests or play the piano. Decorated in warm tones of forest green, burgundy and sand. In winter, after a day of cross-country skiing,warm up in front of the wood-burning fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa.

A group of us who were in town with the touring theatre show Project 515. Karen and Ron were such welcoming hosts. The themes of each room were fun and well decorated. Our breakfast was amazing. One of our tour members is allergic to gluten, and Karen made her special muffins, and even sent her with extras! I stayed in the Garden room and had a magical place to sleep and a great bathroom, which is always important :) overall I recommend Morning Glory to anyone staying in Grand Rapids!

This was the first time that my wife and I stayed in a Bed and Breakfast. Our experience at Morning Glory made for a memorable anniversary. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was also romantic and relaxing. The three course breakfast was great! We also enjoyed our conversation with Ron and Karen. My wife and I will be going back to Morning Glory.

The location was terrific for sight seeing and enjoying the Grand Rapids, MN area. The hospitality was very comfortable and the hosts did a fabulous job of making us feel at home for the weekend. The 3-course breakfast at the Morning Glory B&B cannot be beat!

We enjoyed our stay in the Northwoods room. It was very open and bright. Very impressed by the size of the room and how quiet it was. The food and conversation was delightful too. We will definitely return to this B&B!!
