Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast

We had a very relaxing stay. The food was excellent and the house & garden had plenty of pretty places to relax.

A group of us who were in town with the touring theatre show Project 515. Karen and Ron were such welcoming hosts. The themes of each room were fun and well decorated. Our breakfast was amazing. One of our tour members is allergic to gluten, and Karen made her special muffins, and even sent her with extras! I stayed in the Garden room and had a magical place to sleep and a great bathroom, which is always important :) overall I recommend Morning Glory to anyone staying in Grand Rapids!

The inn provided immaculate rooms, quiet, warm welcome, and amazing breakfasts. I highly recommend it!

This was the first time that my wife and I stayed in a Bed and Breakfast. Our experience at Morning Glory made for a memorable anniversary. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was also romantic and relaxing. The three course breakfast was great! We also enjoyed our conversation with Ron and Karen. My wife and I will be going back to Morning Glory.

The location was terrific for sight seeing and enjoying the Grand Rapids, MN area. The hospitality was very comfortable and the hosts did a fabulous job of making us feel at home for the weekend. The 3-course breakfast at the Morning Glory B&B cannot be beat!

We enjoyed our stay in the Northwoods room. It was very open and bright. Very impressed by the size of the room and how quiet it was. The food and conversation was delightful too. We will definitely return to this B&B!!

This was our first experience staying at a bed and breakfast so we were unfamiliar with the culture of it as compared to staying at a hotel -- and it was fantastic! The suites are lovely and spacious, very nicely decorated. Ron and Karen are wonderful hosts, Karen's cooking is absolutely impressive and talking with them was most enjoyable, as was sharing conversation with the other guests in the morning. I would highly recommend a stay.

We went to Morning Glory B&B this past weekend and loved it. We stayed in the Northwoods Suite and we were glad we chose that one - it was very cozy and felt like we were in the woods. The best things about this B&B was the room, the DVD/TV in the room and the wonderful filling breakfasts. We have never stayed in a B&B before with breakfasts where we were so full throughout the day following the breakfast. On our Anniversary (the last day of our stay), we had the Romance Package which gave way for a delicious breakfast in our room with some champagne. It was a great treat to stay with Karen and Ron.

It was a great way to spend our first anniversary. The service was great and the food even better. The owners, Karen and Ron, were very nice and although we had great conversation, I never once felt like they 'held us back' from our plans with unnecessary talk. It felt just like home for the two nights we spent at this northern Minnesota b&b.

My husband and I stayed in the Northwoods Suite and it was awesome:) We did not want to leave. The room was warm and cozy. Our hosts, Karen and Ron were really friendly and very accomodating. Their dog, Billy, was so well behaved. The food was delicious. We had great conversation with 3 course breakfasts each morning and hors d'oeuvres by the fireplace each evening. The anniversary package was economical and worth every penny! Thanks Karen, Ron and Billy for the great weekend.

My husband and I stayed in the Champagne and Roses Suite. The suite was large, comfortable and furnished with lovely antiques. The highlight of our visit was becoming acquainted with our hosts. Karen and Ron are delightful conversationalists who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Their friendly, well-behaved dog Billy added to the experience.

Fantastic Valentine's Special for a great price! Our hosts were outstanding. Very memorable weekend, our sleigh ride and certified massage therapist were set up with our package deal. A true romantic getaway.

We spent four days here. The food was delicious. Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Would stop again when in the area without question.

We stayed in the champagne and roses room, everything was absolutely wonderful!! The room was very clean and a fresh bouquet of beautiful flowers awaited us. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The appetizers and wine at 5 pm both evenings were just fantastic! We will most definitely be returning!

This was the first time my husband and I stayed in a B&B and we could not have chosen a more perfect spot. Karen and Ron (and Billy) were excellent hosts. Breakfast was very delicious even for how picky of an eater I am. We will be staying here again!

Just finished a vacation and stayed exclusively at B&B's. This one was by far the best and exceeded all expectations. The host were very hospitable in every manner, the room magnificent and the breakfast outstanding. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters on the first floor with a private entrance. It was finely appointed and I slept better than I have in a very long time. For tea lovers, they have a great selection of teas for evening sipping or morning wake-up--even more than I have at home! The neighborhood is quite nice and quiet in a town with many fine restaurants. Also a pretty garden and the hostess is more than willing to talk about it and her gardening skills. This review just reinforces all the other fine reviews--they are all true. Have no fear of stopping here as it will definitely exceed your expectations.

We had a wonderful time here & stayed an extra night because of the comfortable bed, clean room, wonderful breakfast, beautiful flower gardens and cordial hosts. We definitely recommend staying at the Morning Glory B&B and have raved to many friends to do the same! Thanks to Karen & Ron for a perfect getaway weekend.

This was our first stay at a B&B. We decided last minute to do a w/e trip and are so thankful we chose this b & b to visit! The service was great, the room (the Champagne and Roses) was everything the website said it would be (great whirlpool). We also upgraded and added the Romance package - well worth it! We would recommend this b & b to anyone. The price was well worth it. Ron and Karen were great hosts. The breakfasts were more than you can eat plus they had snacks (cookies and coffee) out at all times. Oh, and the wine and appetizers in the afternoon were also a nice touch! Great place to stay!

As our 1st stay at a B&B, this has set the bar very high! The accomodations were wonderful, hosts went above and beyond to create a comfortable and inviting ambience, and we definitely plan to return.

In looking for a place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary we found the perfect combination of hospitality, service, location and isolation at Morning Glory B&B. Go there!

The Morning Glory is much more than a beautifully decorated and meticulously clean B&B surrounded by stunning horticulture. The innkeepers' hospitality is truly olde tyme. The afternoon wine and cheese reception with the other guests created a friendly and family atmosphere as did the scrumptious three course morning breakfasts. Beautifully and tastefully decorated bedroom plus sitting room with fireplace and lovely appointments for restful relaxation. A yard with patio and a rainbow of colorful blooms. Heavenly!

Ron & Karen have provided a safe & comfortable nest. The amenities were wonderful. I've never been this relaxed or "at home" while away.

We recently were delighted with our stay in the Captain's Quarters at the Morning Glory B and B in Grand Rapids. Our room was spacious, clean, modern with an antique flair, and well designed. The inn keepers thoroughly addressed the essentials of a modern B and B, and their dog is simply charming. My companion and I agreed that the few areas needing development concerned the food served. While we certainly appreciated the wine and appetizer feature during the weekend, an alternative to wine should be offered. Furthermore, the breakfast needed some work as the scones were terribly dry and the egg dish lacked flavor. The living room could use some improvements as it was a bit cluttered and not conducive to group gatherings. Overall, our experience was pleasant and the room and in-room bathroom were great.

My husband and I stayed in the Northwoods Suite and were thrilled with it's size and comfort. Very cozy for such a large room. Great gardens, great food, and very quiet.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at the Morning Glory. We had a stressful summer with family illness so we really needed the time we spent in Grand Rapids. Karen and Ron are awesome host and hostess. The breakfasts were fantastic!! I would recommend this B&B to all!

This was our first B&B stay, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We spent three nights in the Garden Suite. It was spacious and comfortable, and with windows on two sides of the house we had a refreshing breeze blowing through even though it was hot outside. I got a peek at all of the other suites as well, and I would be happy to stay in any of them. The food was great, and Karen and Ron did an outstanding job of accommodating my dietary quirks. We had wine and hors d'ourves on the back patio one evening, to the sounds of a bubbling fountain, and in the cosy living room another. Friendly hosts, clean quiet house, close to a quaint downtown area - just what we were looking for!

Mornig glory offerd a great location for our group to stay while we participated in the biking event. Our hosts were wonderful and made us feel so welcome that we will return as guests but more importantly, friends.

Morning Glory is a delightful bed and breakfast in a lovely neighborhood of Grand Rapids, Mn. All of the four rooms are suites- a bedroom and a "living room". Reasonably priced and close to everything, including bike trails.

I stayed with my well behaved youngsters and we thoroughly enjoyed our winter get-a-way. A scrumptous breakfast that satisfied even my little guys greeted us each morning, and we needed all the sustinance possible as we had a full day sledding and winter walks. We will surely be back again.

Although we live only a little more than an hour away from Grand Rapids, we plan to go back and stay at the B&B in conjunction with an event at the Reif Center. The bike trail is very pretty from G.R. north. Our "suite" was super nice and comfy.

LOcation is convenient to anything in the area. Home is very,very nice. Room was clean, comfortable and beautrifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Host and hostess were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I enjoyed some much-needed relaxation in the Champagne and Roses suite. Snuggling up by the fireplace, napping on the comfy queen bed and letting tense muscles relax in the whirlpool tub made the experience memorable. Karen and Ron were friendly and very helpful, making us last-minute dinner reservations and sharing info about Grand Rapids over wine and hors d'oeuvres.

We were treated as royalty and found the facility to be much much better than expected.

This Bed and Breakfast was just what we needed... quiet, comfortable, clean, close to the bike trail, wonderful breakfast, TV, and kind of felt like we were staying with a good friend - The owner was pleasant, helpful, and very matter of fact. She was not "in your face" or all chatty. That is important to us. She was ready to converse if we desired conversation, but left us to enjoy ourselves which is something we really look forward to on a trip. Her wild rice/blueberry pancakes were the best! Great coffee. We would readily go back if the opportunity comes our way... which I think it will. The street was quiet - even with our windows open to catch the evening breeze. Great, great place.

This home is not only charming and well-appointed on the inside, but the owners have also created a charming and well-tended garden space as well. Karen was a gracious innkeeper; we consider this a real find and were sorry our stay was so short.
