Skara Brae Scottish Bed & Breakfast
Located on the north shore of Lake Superior just three miles east of Grand Marais, Minnesota, the Scottish retreat Skara Brae beckons with breathtaking views and old-world hospitality. Enjoy the mesmerizing sights and sounds from the lake 100 feet below while relaxing on the comfortable and spacious decks or fireside in the lakefront living room. Accommodations include one cottage with king-sized bed, kitchenette and bath, a two-room suite with private bath and a third queen-size bedroom with adjacent bath. European art, quilts, English country fabrics and native knotty pine wood decorate the bedrooms.

Grand Marais, Minnesoata is about 110 miles northeast of Duluth on Highway 61. Croftville is an additional 3 miles northeast of Grand Marais proper. Croftville road (county road 87) will be your first clue that you are approaching Skara Brae. There are blue highway signs giving directions to various establishments. Look for our sign on the lakeside of Highway 61 after you pass the Wedgewood Motel. Turn right onto our property, park in one of the three provided spots and come on in. - Nearest major airport: Duluth, MN (DLH) 125 miles

- Deposit amount required (A deposit of the first night is required to book your stay payable by check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.)
- Check in time is after 3:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
- Cancellations:
Cancel 2 weeks before your check-in date for a full refund less a $15.00 service charge. If less than 2 weeks before check-in no refund unless we can re-book the room. If we re-book, a full refund less a $15.00 service charge will be made. - Accepted by the following agencies:
